- In this video I review the Action Force Swarm Sentry by Valaverse. This is a repaint of the Swarm Trooper but looks different enough to pick up. I look at his articulation and paint apps.

I still haven't received my ship notification for this one, but collecting has taught me to be patient, don't pay more on ebay, not necessary.

Thank you for the kind words, your post is pinned to this review for sure now lol. Yeah jumping on eBay now is over reacting right now. Seems like a lot of the sipping issues are taken care of and product is becoming readily available.
I have no problem with seeing the peg inside the Swarm Trooper and Scarabs. The light shining through gives an eerie, inhuman effect which would provide an advantage in battle, and is consistent with how the helmet tech works according to the lore. Also, how do we even know those are human beings inside those suits? Little is known about this faction, they could be robots, androids, aliens, drones, they could be anything. So the way the helmets are designed is a big part of their appeal in my eyes.

I really like how spare magazines are incorporated into armor on chest. Would be cool if they were removable but it's no loss.
Yeah I have enough removable AF mags that I don’t know what to do with 😂
Got this guy ordered with a swarm gear pack. Still prefer the original but this trooper is still cool. Great review as always. 👍👍
Thank you. I think I like the regular Swarm Trooper more too, but this one works as an officer for them.
Nice review. I'm glad that the articulation has improved. I ordered series 1 and 2 and the joints on all of my figures are locked up. Heat helps but it doesn't solve the problem. I might order this figure while Valaverse has stock.
It's funny that you pointed out the painted eyes. That's one thing that I disagree with you about. I really like the see through plastic on the original figure. The neck peg doesn't bother me at all. I liked the effect it creates.
Thank you. Yes if you are scared to by Valaverse because of the first series, don’t be. Their figures have improved beyond what you would think.
These took so long to actually come out that I used:
-weapons from mcfarlane's mandarin spawn (when the figure was on sale in the $4 - $8 range)
-red classified ninjas
-self cut capes from grey store bags (family dollar, target) and/or black trash bags
...to make stand-in cobra la swarm figures

@@Apunkwithtoys if you knew how lazily... I mean how screen accurate to replicate a tattered look, I cut those capes you probably wouldn't say that. 🤭
Those mandarin spawn blades however, met the look nicely (and aren't as *_painful_* to put into classified hands when compared to mcfarlane firgures' hands).
I ordered this one and 2 of the regular Swarm troopers. I kind of think of him like Viper Officer
I feel the same way.
I put a little bluetac in the knife sheath and the knifes stay in allot better now if your having issues with them falling out. I have less issues of that with classified stuff but classified knives look like putty. I'll take the valaverse knives and use a small dab of blutac honestly. I know others may feel diferently.
Do you mean sticky tack? Yeah I use that stuff all the time. It’s nice that it can be taken off and don’t have to worry about it ruining the figure.
