We just got back from the Big Bend Area (Seminole State Park) if you have time to stop they have a great visitor center with a small museum.

Greg, when Maria & I took our 3 1/2 month trip around the continuous 48 states in our tear drop in 2013, it was a lot of fun I know you’ll have a lot of fun also. Maria though was ready to get back home by the end of month three but we were out in Texas with 2 weeks to go. Again enjoy retirement and your tour of the National Parks.

Congratulations!! I'm full timing in my Rpod 171. In 2022 I did a summer trip and visited 13 states in 6 months It was amazing! My advice- enjoy and be present in the moment. Big Bend is my home national park. Do the day hikes and if you backpack-do the Chisos. Looking forward to your videos. I dedicated my trip to my parents who always said they were going to buy an RV and travel. They never got the opportunity. Go for it! Do it! Cheering you down the road for safe travels and a happy journey.

You are doing what my husband and I had talked about. Unfortunately he passed away unexpectedly 10 years ago. So glad you are able to make your dream come true. I will be following along.
I worked in Hospice and we had many patients in their 60's, it made me really reflect that we don't know how much time we have. So many people said to me "do it while you can!" and so I'm taking that good advice to heart! I'm so sorry for your loss, it must have been a very difficult time as unexpected losses are often times the worst to endure.
We have been planning our first extended trip as retirees to Southern Utah and Western Colorado. The planning is over the top! Woke up in a panic a few weeks ago when I realized I needed to get online and reserve one of our campsites in Southern Utah. We’re still working on our return trip and have gotten as far as Vernal,Utah (Dinosaur Nat. monument). Trying to decide where to go from there! Have a wonderful trip Greg.
I love that area and Dinosaur NM is one of my favorite places! If you're into it and it's the right time of year, plan an extra day or two for a rafting trip through the monument, it's the best way to see it!
Lucky….! Grant and l are going cross country in June until Sept. 1st. Taking our grandson on. National Park tour ourselves. We’ll watch your channel and who knows, maybe we’ll run into ya somewhere.

Oh, also, my toddler had a National park themed birthday party and I found beautiful postcards on Amazon. I think it was 100 pack for about $20. And they have really neat almost paint by numbers artwork.

Where did u find the national park fabric at fpr the valences ?
It was a shower curtain I bought on Amazon a couple years ago and repurposed as valances. I looked on Amazon recently and unfortunately it’s not available any more.
