Thanks for the review always nice to see good looking tv box with designs, and especially if it works well with Miracast, now that there is a lockdown tv boxes can also help forget the stress and the boredom and maybe consumes less power than a console.

Cool looking box. For a Secondary box might be decent option. For Primary TV I uses the Nvidia Shield TV (Non Pro Version) because it simply the best solution for real Streaming.

So the DDR4 version is considerably faster... I just purchased mine from off ebay about a month ago been playing around with it for the past week or so.. Here are my benchmarks for the DDR4 version: AnTuTu Benchmark v8.3.2 (55,732) Geekbench v4 (773) single core (1392) multicore.... 135mbps read 83mbps write.... As far as netflix streaming I don't use it.. I use Kodi so couldn't test that but CZcams streams 4k no problem however this was advertised as a 8k android tv box and I have no way of testing to see if that works no 8k monitor... but according to these benchmarks my DDR4 Version of the X99 Max Plus would put it on your charts between #16 and #17? and just wanted to say thank you for all the awesome content you create you've actually helped me on several occasions when it came to buying my android tv boxes the t95q & Topsion TP01... So again thank you very much for all you do for the android tv box hobby!!! I paid $64 for mine off ebay, I think it was worth it because the product was located in Texas right here in America worth not waiting shipment from Hong Kong and was listed for only $61 on Aliexpress so I didn't mind spending the extra $3!!!

Don’t buy this as google play is stuck on version 12.4 and can’t be updated. The supplier has no interest in updating / fixing the problem either

I have one question , is this box identical to X88 pro X3 ,the one you reviewed the other day because I am a bit confused .What is the difference ,except the remote control they use of course (Lol) ?
They are the same, specs wise. However, performance is only slightly better in the X88 model. Probably due to a faster internal storage. And yet X88 is cheaper.

They're both really good, but I'd choose the Nvidia Shield. Netflix will stream up to 4K and you have Dobly Atmos.

Those are only Android box but not a droid tv box .they are just running a mobile apps on a tv box .I have nvidia shield tv wich runs full android tv . That one doesn't not supports chrome cast but the mi box and nvidia do

Go for S922 its much more powerful and my fav S922 box is
MAGICSEE N6 PLUS as it has 128GB storage and its cheaper then the others on my list.

For me if the box isn't Google certified than its not an appealing android box.
No gamepads work and now I found keyboard also does not work with the new X99MAX with S922X processor. They have a kernel bug and letter Q is not mapped so pressing it does nothing. Avoid this $US100 garbage box at all costs.
Yes it's rubbish and you can't update Google play which is stuck on 12.4 from 3 years ago.
DO NOT BUY THESE POS.. I HAVE TWO. BOTH CRASH TO BLACK SCREEN AFTER BOOT UP. RESET BUTTON DOSE NOT WORK. The X88 I had worked better till it crashed. Fire stick second edition is junk. Buffer all the time.
After playing in different apps. when you leave an app it locks for 5 minutes before you can do anything with it.
Reboot in safe mode. Only thing on screen is Safe Mode bottom left on screen total black.
