I shifted from 20w40 after consultation with my mechanic as well, even he said let's try with 10w40 this time, even he was very surprised with the performance, I told him whatever oil your using make sure it's fully synthetic, aprilia knows the difference between semi and fully synthetic.. So this time, we shifted to motul 10w40 fully synthetic and boy o boy has the performance improved and even better cold starts.

1. Spark plug
2. Clean Airfilter, replace if too dirty.
3. Clean Carburettor.
4. Check and adjust valve clearance.

Nah bro, you can go ahead with 5w40 engine oil, lot of my friends have gone with it, they have nothing but good things to say about it.
