    This was Johnny's best lineup. Torello and Paris were BEASTS, a killer rhythm section.

      Naw. Johnny had and still has many many fans. Love makes the heart grow fonder. Johnny was just the best. You would skip work and be fired just to see him in concert. From the first song to the last he would rock. Fond memories.

      What really impressed me was seeing Jon playing bass and harmonica at the same time. He had a plexiglass tube to mount the harmonica in (to enhance the tone), which he had connected to his harmonica brace. Nobody else did that like Jon did. I wish I could find the video clip of him playing bass & harmonica.

    When they talk about speed they usually say Alvin Lee or Joe Bonamassa, but Johnny leaves them in the dust.

      +Jimmy Clapton That was an MXR Phase 90 he turned on during the song. Johnny used the MXR Phase 90 from 1974 to 1984.

    Drummer is a good Rock Drummer, NOT a Blues Drummer. Could only imagine the look the late great Freddie King would have been giving to the Rhythm section!! It would not have been pretty.
