I have a friend in Texas whose first name is " Kent". It's not until recently after I watched videos like this that I come to understand why I always heard he was addressed as " Ken" all the time. American English is quite elusive. Whoever mastered T's masters American pronunciations. As always, great job!
You are wonderful ❤. Thanks a million. I haven't seen such useful and practical lessons anywhere. Thanks again for teaching native American pronunciation. We can't learn it any any books or classes.
You guys work so well!! I admire a lot your way of teaching! It's so good to watch the explanations! They are easy, calm and very well explained. Congratulations for that amazing job and thank you for offering us that service! It has been extremely useful. May God bless you guys!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you so much for this invaluable video. I speak English since my childhood, but nobody taught me the English pronunciation the way you did. Please keep up the good work.👍👍👍👏👏👏
vow, so wonderful video about how to pronounce covering a full variety of /t/, very helpful, can't express my thanks to you! Yes, I've never been taught these at school.
Kevin can we read books together? something simple, maybe Harry Potter or Sherlock Holmes. it's a real pleasure to learn english with you, thank you for everything
I have been living in the US for half my life, and I have issues with pronouncing conjunction words 🙃. I spoke Spanish with my parents and relatives, so I never bothered with English language grammar. 😢 I have been acting in my nature language for a long time but now I want to act in English but having trouble with pronouciations.
Your videos are amazing and help me a lot. Thank you so much! I was wondering how to decide if the tense is present or past by listening as /t/, /d/ are omitted when they’re between consonants. Following examples are having past tense “ed” between consonants. They declined to provide further information. I stopped the car. I managed to get up at 6am. I promised to buy a dog. I hoped to see him. Is there a stop /t/ or /d/ or just silence?
Hello Sir: I have a question for you: consonant + t + consonant = t is silent. For example „to pain(t) the house.“ But when you say „eight“ for example „I had eight dollars“ you use the „t“ as a stop t and not as a silent t even though „h“ and „d“ are consonants. Why? Thank you in advance❤️
@@mrmememe777 Can the beginning learner divide any word to syllables without looking in dictionary? And what is the rule ? For example word " begin " its syllables are ( beg - in ) or ( be - gin ) ?

That's right. In these cases there's no difference in pronunciation. People understand from the context of the conversation.
Thanks a lot but I have question can I pronounce ( got to )like godda ??
Thank you .

Both cases are a stop T that you don't really hear.

Both "t"s are stop t's. Put your tongue up, but don't release.
Thanks a lot 🌹
