- Join us as we visit a very cold Hersheypark and ride all of the rides we don't usually do, because a lot of attractions were closed! Even though we were pretty sad about it, we tried to make the most out of it, and still had fun along the way!

Just went on Sunday. It was snowing. Candymonium eventually opened up JUST as we were leaving. We walked on. It was an amazing ride. So happy.

I agree that Wildcat is so bad that it’s fun. The roughness is so ridiculous it just makes the ride more unique.
If you think Wildcat is rough, then don't ever get on rides like Legend, Grizzly at Kings Dominion, Mine Blower, or Hades 360. Wildcat is glossy smooth by comparison to those.
I really do feel like major parks should offer discounted entry on the days that their star attractions are closed.

That was indeed a pretty chilly day to ride coasters! Glad I managed to get one ride on Skyrush the previous day. It sounds like you guys went back days later to get August his Skyrush ride so can't wait to see that!
Was at Hershey the weekend before this past weekend. Got in line for skyrush just as it opened. Got second ride on it. As we pulled out of the station, it literally started hailing! Imagine the craziness of Skyrush with needles constantly peppering you!!! Anyways, it was still an amazing ride! And as expected, when we pulled into the station, the said Skyrush would be closed till the weather improved. But then, it closed literally all day. No candymonium or Fahrenheit either. And the weather was literally fine. Like no wind, above minimum operating temperature. So, yeah. Hershey is crazy fun, but has some weird operations. Still an absolutely incredible park!
Heading there this weekend! Haven’t been in YEARS, and my boys have never been!! Looking forward to it. Thanks for the video!

Went to Hersheypark last weekend for one last ride on Wildcat and while it was rough, it was a lot more fun than I remembered. It also started raining just before I got on Comet after waiting for almost 2 hours for it (that was going to be the first ride of the day). Ended up going to Laff Trakk and waiting for about 2 hours for that instead as it continued to downpour. Somehow I still managed to get a total of 7 rides in for the day including all of my priority rides
I’m actually going to Hershey park for the first time this august. Can’t wait to visit the sweetest place on earth and ride candymonium, storm runner, Fahrenheit, etc.

I was there this day too... It was abysmally cold. My first trip to Hershey, and I was very sad the big three were closed.

I went to Hershey on December 23rd. Got on everything that was supposed to be open once before it all shut down. We spent the rest of the night riding the flat rides we wouldn’t normally do. Ended up with a very wild ride on the Tilt-a-whirl
When I saw you guys were at hersheypark with August I was so happy for August to finally ride Skyrush. Then I saw Skyrush, candy, and Fahrenheit were all closed after hours of checking, my heart sank and I honestly felt awful.
I was there that day. My friends and I were disappointed that Skyrush and Candymonium were closed, but it was still fun. I wish I would have seen you guys, love the channel!

Can't wait to get back there to ride Candymonium! Storm Runner was definitely our favorite from our last trip, and Great Bear probably a close 2nd, I love that oddly placed helix before the first drop (BUT...while I haven't been on Banshee yet, I still have to agree with Sarah that Alpengeist in the front row, is better than Great Bear.....Alpengeist in any other row, maybe not so much).
I haven't been to Hersheypark since 2018 but it's one of my favorite parks. Even with Candymonium and the Intamins down, you can still have a great time in the park because they have a great supporting lineup. The flat collection isn't great so hopefully they add some like a Star Flyer or Giant Discovery. Comet is so underrated, even the GP agrees with it too since it always seem to have a long line. Helps that it has buzz bars. Great Bear is definitely better than Banshee. Always is, always will be; imo of course. Laff Trakk has great theming to the point it's the best themed coaster in the park but doesn't spin much unfortunately. During Hersheypark in the Dark, they turn all the lights off. Did it once during that time and thought it was a waste of time even with a short wait. And I'm going to have to agree (semi unfortunately) that Jolly Rancher Remix looks to be the best Boomerang when it reopens beating out Sea Serpent at my home park with its new trains. Reminds me of Speed of Sound at Walibi Holland.

Wildcat actually isn't very rough at all. It's just that Lightning Racer & Comet are so smooth, that Wildcat seems rough by comparison. I actually thought that Voyage ran rougher than Wildcat on my June trip last year. Legend was at least 10 million times rougher than Wildcat. On my 3 different visits to Hershey in 2020-21, Wildcat has been reasonably smooth for a woodie, and the airtime has been excellent.

Fun fact I saw you this past weekend taking off ride shots of skyrush over by candymonium close to the bench I was on. Sadly couldn’t ride a lot of the rides due to having a broken ankle.

What did you guys go? I was there on the 2nd and again on the 15th and couldn’t have asked for better weather. Though it was a bit chilly the first day. Everything was running though except for Trailblazer and whatever they’re calling the boomerang now lol

I never been to Hershey park. And I really want to go! It’s one of my dream parks. The only parks I’ve ever been to was: Carowinds, (my home park) kings dominion, six flags over Georgia, Busch garden Williamsburg, Disney world, universal studios, and sea world Orlando. So far my dream parks are:
Cedar point
Kings island
Six flags great adventure
Six flags magic mountain
Knots berry farm
Hershey park
Canada wonderland
Busch garden Tampa bay
Six flags fiesta Texas
Six flags Mexico

It’s amazing that Hersheypark offers an actual vegan option and y’all just made fun of your friend for getting it instead of applauding the park for offering something real for folks. You clearly have no idea how hard it is to eat at parks and not involve animals. He said it’s good, multiple times.
