Next winter you should definitely try long rocker arms for the rear differential suspension. Your machine is bottoming out all the time all the revos! You have to put long travel rocker arms on the rear of all revos they will perform way better see RC snow blazers
Just figured out that I"m forgot to leave a comment here lol. It looks insane with the XL Terrapins on it,but I guess that this tyre size simply overstresses the drivetrain of the revo..However ,great video!!😎*thumbsup*
I thought it would be to much stress also but the stock wheels are almost the same size in hight. My Temps were about 210degrees Fahrenheit. Thanks for watching much appreciated!
@@rcshowoff5427 Perhaps it was also the relatively cold outside temperature which had causes the damage..However, the Revo looks insane in combination with the Terrapin wheels!! The pleasure is my!! By the way,I love your full size toy with the white stripes, what an amazing car my dude!
But I recently found one in my area that’s in great condition with everything plus the bag that comes with A few spare things and it’s red Hopefully I can get it this week or next week
Awesome I hope you can get it. I'm always searching Ebay and people are nuts for the price they ask. You right I always find rollers for the price of a new one.
Man I’ve really been wanting to get a revo I can get a new one but I always feel bad getting it dirty when it’s new so I’ve been wanting to try to find a used one but it’s kind of hard to get one and a good price And have everything on it a lot of them are missing transmission and engine.
i love how the revo looks on terra pins might grab a set for mine do you know if they change your roll out did you have to adjust your shift point are they heavier do you feel the tires had anything to do with the shaft breaking
Thank you! I didn't change anything on the truck It ran great and shifted fine this day. I took it out again a week later when warm weather came through and it kept overheating on me. Changing the spur gear out would be wise running these wheels.
Question bro that I have been asking a guy for help and he is not sure so I gotta ask around. Idle gap I have been having trouble with there’s a guy who kept telling me to set my idle gap to 1 mm well that’s giving me problems BIGTIME. I have a fluctuating low speed idle all of the time. It revs up at low idle and no matter how low I put the idle gap it acts up a little fluctuating Here’s the thing my 2.5 rustler is a ton more snappy so much so it’s night and day difference and it’s idle gap is super small less then half what the Revo is set to. The rustler is new untouched and it rips The Revo I built it myself so I’m not surprised it needs a good tune I know it is all about the idle gap and seems how it’s snowing there like it is here Mabey you’ll have some good advice for me Great bash dude 👊😎
Hello!! I will try and help the best I can. Setting the idle gap is only part of it. The low speed needle also controls the idle. If low speed is at factory settings try leaning it very little this will raise the idle some. Rich the needle will lower the idle. I'd try making the carb gap a small as possible so it idles on its own and then slowly turn in the low speed needle until the idle raises. Hopefully this helps I don't like giving wrong info.
@@rcshowoff5427 Firstly I’m gonna rant some and it will make sence cause this has been a year of stupid tuning in which I believe now the dudes laughing at me arrrg You can’t do wrong by helping Apologies I have to ask around this. I have been seeking aid for a while now. I know a guy who’s obviously steering me wrong telling me to set my idle gap to 1 mm. Yet he can not explain any needle settings at all. Yes it’s difficult especially when your closest help keeps telling me I live up high in the mountains OMg lol I personally told him we both live on the ocean level a stone throw away from the beach on the west coast. Knowing someone close is the best person I can ask for tuning advice But unfortunately his advice to set my gap at 1 mm has been my issue all along I have been asking and asking for help and I see now I only needed to do was ask someone willing to help in doing so I dropped his advice and closed my gap almost all the way and leaned the low needle crazytown Guess what I got the engine running like a absolute champ. Thing is I pay for my hobby fun No body sends me engines daily or free stuff so much to the point I can go ahead with little care or help for others I have to take big care of my stuff because if I don’t I don’t have anything Apologies bro I’m ranting a year or more of my frustration trying to tune from the advice from a guy who just can’t give any advice past setting the idle gap way to big. 🤷♂️
Awesome nitro upgrades and cool bashing
Thank you Duke much appreciated!
The revo 3.3 looks awesome with the savage tires
Thank you! The only downfall is the engine runs a little hot but some gearing can fix that. Thanks for watching.
Awesome bashing man and great looking Revo!
Thank you!!
The Kyosho Neo is such a great truggy. I think you're really going to like it!
Thank you!! That's good to know. Can't wait to run it in the nicer weather.
Love the Revo! I have a Revo 2.5 in my fleet. And Congrats on your new RC’s👍🏻
Thank you! Revo 2.5 is great and now a classic. I did turn this into a 3.3 but I still have a very old T Maxx 2.5.
Cool video. Truck sounded a little lean to me. Thing is a beast
Thank you!
Great video!

Thanks but both my Revo's have the long travel arms installed. This suspension is very soft. Thanks for watching and feedback!

Still, it looks good, runs good🦾🤠
