Love. Thanks for posting. About 15 years ago I hear this song in Mazatland mexico but never knew the name of the song. I see if I can learn the song. Thanks for the lessons. Cheer from the frozen north. Stay safe and quarantined in these dangerous times. thanks again for the lesson
This song was writed for Alvaro Carrillo. He was from Oaxaca Mexico.
Andres this is the best tutorial for Sabor a mi. I’m going to see if I can play this on my baritone ukulele. Aloha
I'm currently trying to do that😅
And it really is the best video I could find 😁
I had never heard this song before until it popped into my CZcams feed from searching another song I heard while listening to Santana but I absolutely loved it right when I first heard it, so I had to learn to play it. I wish I could hang out with you and learn more about the boleto style . I also dug the drone shot pull up, very cool. Thanks for the lesson

I absolutely love this song and am thankful that I was able to find this tutorial in English. All I could find was tutorials in Spanish, but rather than alphabetical chords hey use so re mi chords and I don't understand it. Thanks a lot, this rendition is beautiful. Also, is there any way you can make a tutorial for Piel canela?
The best maestro. Thanks a lot!
Summer + Florida = rain guaranteed. But it usually only lasts a few minutes.

Fun lesson, thank you Andres. I just saw your video with Sean Daniel where you two discussed Songs musicians should play on gigs. Could you show us a lesson on Smooth? It sounded so cool when you played some lead lines and the rhythm. Thanks. Enjoying your channel.

Cool brother I dig the video 👍🏼🎶🎶🎶🎸
Ay brother you gotta do a cover of this it's amazing 👍
Le salió muy bien el español 😳
I'm confused. Most times when you say to play a chord, there are fingers fretted on the second and third string (strings A and D), but you don't finger-pick those strings?! For example at 1:50 you say " you say to play an F sharp minor with the pinky in the fourth fret of the first string." But then you don't even strum the A or D string. So why wouldn't we just bar the second fret and put our pinky down where you suggested. I get that not every note is needed in a chord for the ear to recognize it. But why even put the finger there then? Maybe this was an accident, but there are many other instances of this where you specifically say to only strum the bass and the bottom three strings. I'm a beginner, so honestly curious, not complaining.
Because to experienced guitarists, it's easier to make the full chord shape because they've played the shapes so many times even if it's objectively "harder" to hold down more strings. It's easier because he's probably played the full shape thousands of times more than the partial shape...
Hi Connor a bit late but it’s a good habit to make full shapes regardless so you can get used to navigating the fretboard and get quicker and more accurate
For people who have all the chord shapes memorized we don’t have to learn anything aside from the picking, therefore allowing us to learn the song much faster without any extra hassle, also makes it easier to teach rather than having to vocalize tabs which is a pain in the ass
@@matthewwarner9390 fair. for me it just makes my hand hurt 😂 and I don't know chord shapes by names.
@@ineden28 coming from playing violin for 10+ years. what's a chord. kidding, but I definitely think in terms of single notes
wonderful ,thank you very much
Omar Brsli thank you Omar
May be a silly question, but would this be Key of E?
Is this a flamenco guitar or a classical?
What is “this shape right here”?
Where may I purchase these tabs?
Quien canta esa canción?
Me gustaría ver un video completo en español💖
Very nice!thanks..Is that a Takamine CP- 133 SC? what pickup do you have in there? Thanks
Orale! 👍🏽
Can you tell me how to tune it to the way your guitar sounds?
This is a great tutorial. What kind of guitar is that? I’m in the market for a classical and the one you’re playing sounds amazing.
Its not the guitar but the strings, get a Nylon pack of strings
Hi Andres, beautiful!
What Spanish Guitars do yo play?
Awesome. Do you have a chord chart?
Nevermind. Lol, I was transposing for hours. Guess I was a little tired but I got it. Thanks for the video!
@@adrianloya8909 could you share your transposing with us?
^^
Hi Andres! it's easy to see what your fretting fingers do, but the subtleties of how you finger-pick are lost on me (granted I JUST started playing this week, so maybe I'll figure it out naturally?). Just don't want to get bad habits. Is there a video you recommend, or maybe a name for this style of picking? Really like this style of learning though (where you can follow along without knowing chords beforehand because you explain which fingers move where).
I've just discovered the watch at half speed feature if that helps anyone else!
Are you using a go pro?

awsome video
Hi Andres, Thanks for this video, excellent! I got it all figured out, pretty much note for note but my singer wants to do it in key of E Flat, how do I transpose that?
You could transpose it or you could just tune all 6 strings down 1/2 step and play it the same as Andres shows here. This tuning is Eb aka "Rock tuning" and hence playing the grip of E etc. now becomes Eb. Hope it helps.
Alhambra? I like your guitar??
