"Yashasvi weds Anvith" - A Coorgi wedding!

- A Coorgi wedding video that I've made of my best friend Yashasvi. This was the first time I attended a Coorgi wedding and I was very excited about this one because the tradition was something new to me. I was one among the audience and it was not easy for me to record all the customs without obstructions. The stage was filled with people and I was finding it hard to make space and record it. I tried my best to record the best shots possible! And also, when I was busy capturing pictures of the bride, I've missed one of the main part of the wedding, (which I wasn't aware of because it was happening in another spot) I.e., slashing of Banana stems by the groom's side. Rashmi..I am a Coorg or Kodava..we are very much Indians but even till today there is a lot of confusion re our ancestry. You must male it to a Coorg wedding to see the symbolism, culture and traditions.

Guys don't bring chapene n cake on wedding it's British culture not Indian. It's not that we should not consume it... But don't make it as symbol on marriage.
Swapnil Sakpal sir do u know that....the lands that are owned by some of the coorgies where given by the british ppl then.....the reach owners of that estates ancestors were once maali in those british occupied estates....when freedom news was becoming strong day by day....some just fled away from the place while few britishers got married to few maali's daughters to get their residence hence permanent...and they all had kids...and since then they are seen to adapt few cultures from them
