In my state we do a similar thing. We fill it with dried -grated coconut , powdered sugar, dry fruits and usually eat as a dessert
I would so go to this place. The environment seems so welcoming. Love mom and pop restaurants. Sadly so few left in Canada these days.

Picadillo refer to choped meat, the best empanadas had the meat cut with knife. Now in Argentina larger chain food serve empanadas with sauces, like criolla, chimichurri and Cheddar, i prefer the old school Santiagueña, Salteña or Tucumana with lemon juice.

Great video, but the way that Argentine porteños pronounce words with double Ls like they are a J, just drives me crazy. He said pica di JOH, instead of pica dil YOH. They also say Pie Eh JOH instead of Pie EL LHO foe paella. This is also prevalente among the Uruguayan porteños (those that live along the ports of Argentina and Uruguay). This only happens in this region and nowhere else where Spanish is spoken CORRECTLY. This drive me crazy and even causes me earaches when I hear these words mispronounced. They are una pareja simpåtico pero el acento porteño Madre mia!
