A small exploit (if you can call it that) for the Kurds: Set them to no garrisons and wait until they start an uprising, then crush that and the resistance will be much easier to manage because the Kurd modifiers are gone

Just the word "Khaganate" to an empire just sounds amazing and cool
Based Nomad moment
@@Gun_Metal_Grey 🐎🏹
The word Horde itself means centralised state in turkic/nomadic languages. Horde(english), Orda/Orta(turkic languages) means center or capital.
And the Ulus, Khanate, Khaganate just means the size/level of the Hodre state. If it js a subject of Khanate/Khaganate it is Ulus.
And depending on the number of tributary states a Horde can be either Khanate and Khaganate.
For instance, first Turkic Khaganate had China, Ephtalites and Avars as a tributary states.
While the Crimean Khanate had only Ruthenia and Moscovy to pay it tributes. So if the state is only regional power it is Khanate. And if the Horde is multicontinental/multiregional it becomes Khaganate.

Excellent video as usual! The opening strat seems oddly familiar *wink wink* :). Now, my thoughts on the strat:
About the Kurds, the reason why you were unsuccesful so many times in a row is because, when you fail, you are not only losing stability, but also increasing resistance. After 25-30% resistance (I forgot which one) the odds of the decision change dramatically (from 49-50% to 79-80% chance of failing), and not only that, but after you pass that threshold you may also increase the level of the modifier by 1 when you fail (which doesn't happen when resistance is below that). This is why is so important to reduce the resistance to the minimum before going for the decisions (in my Sèvres video I also went for Secret Police, nowadays I go straight for Military Governor or Martial Law, to get resistance to 0% before going for the decisions). Still, this is completely a gamble and it is better to restart if screwed by the seed as you said.
About getting the 30% support for the "brown" ideology: you can speed up the process significantly by 1) Spamming the decision "revolutionism" that you get access to after getting the "brown" prime minister (which also increases your stability, making republicanism usually unnecessary) and 2) Ban the "red" ideology, which comes in handy because revolutionism increases both and you will convert part of the "red" support into "brown" support
Now, Etatism: I think it is completely not worth to keep if the price is staying on civilian economy. Just think about it: the national spirit gives you -7% consumer goods, +5% Mils and +15% civs construction, while going to partial mobilization from civilian economy means -10% consumer goods, +40% mils and +30% civs construction. Just because of that is a better option, but additionally, while you have Etatism, the decisions to build civilian factories in exchange for PP are much more expensive (100 PP each to be precise).
For the Clodius Agreement, it is worth it to build infrastructure in Bursa, you only need to build 3 at the beginning of the game, while you have Etatism with the bonus for infrastructure, to get 2 mils and max infrastructure in that region. The other regions you can do this on are not worth the cost.
About the focuses, you do not need to go for the Oniki Islands, Reconciliation, the Fifth Columnist or the Scars of the Great War: you can go straight for "Abuse the office of soil products" right after Fatherland first and get access to Reconfigure the Foreign Policy directly and get down the focus tree faster. If you don't need/want to speed it up, you could use the time of those focuses to do the army focuses instead to remove some maluses early (much better option IMO).
On the Vichy peace deal: I completely agree with you in not puppeting Petain, but I would advice to annex the African territories directly: they start with high compliance and are an excellent source of manpower, while having them as puppets is pretty much useless due to the lack of industry/resources.
And last, as I mentioned in your Twitch stream, I think Iraq and Iran are not the best targets for the early game, there are other targets than will allow you more interesting options, if I ever find the time to record another video I'll show it :)
The Professor knows all! Good advice, as usual!
are you still going to do it? we're waiting man

If you want to do deep breakthroughs and big encirclements, like you did here, and to not lose expensive tank divisions, consider recruiting some fast motorized divs to fill the fronline behind your tanks fast, like it actually was done in real life. Moto is quite easy to produce in numbers and when you switch your tank divs to mechanized, you free up even more moto. Use it. Even 10 width moto div with no support companies could give the time for your main beefier inf divs to arrive.
Real smooth music when you show the combat 👌🏻
That free france bug was absolutely ridiculous. Good on you for not just trashing the whole run. I would have been irate. It's nice seeing people able to pull this stuff off. Makes me thing I can eventually learn this game well enough that my armies actually progress. I am really bad, and the game is terrible at explaining things.
He had 2-3 moments to justify trashing the run yet he dealt with it.
Amazing Video, keep up the great work!
I have been waiting for this! Exciting! Love your content. I really enjoy watching your non-achievement content (like forming hard nations and mods) as I tend to watch your achievement content only after I have tried for it and either failed (and need your guidance) or succeeded and want to see what I could do better (and for the enjoyable content). Keep up the excellent work!
Just popped back in to watch this one. I wonder why paradox didn't think to take the kaiserreich alternate history political aspect to mongolia to remake the Mongol empire. That would have been amazing to see the best implementation of total war blitzkrieg into action
That stability hurt's...recently I did a massive Guangxi game and the Allies late game Strat bombed my war support to 0 for years, I won eventually and going dispersed industry really helps prevent losing too many factories, I haven't gone back to concentrated for over a year.
These videos go well with a cup of tea.
I'd love to see you try and form Persia or Arabia sometime. In my opinion, both are relatively difficult, with Persia still being quite a bit easier than Arabia due to Iran's higher population and factory count than all of the Arabian countries.
It's obviously not gonna be nearly as complicated as restoring Andalusia, but it still seems like a reasonable challenge.
THANK YOU YOU FINALLY DID IT I LOVE YOU

Nice video...Good job!
7:48 Don't worry about low stability while you are playing with Turkey :)
After you finish 'ratify the six arrows' focus you will get some juicy decisions and they give you lots of stability.Slow but effective.
45:58 This reminds me of my Ottoman game where Bulgaria had been absorbed by Serbia, I think it was, and they kept investing in stuff to make my state more Democratic. I guess ghost countries have money to invest in factories now. Worse, if you've banned Democracy, that option's gone and you only have anti-democratic raids (which only work when they're above 10%) and the raids just break even with the .05% they're adding, meaning there's no way besides the console to effectively counter this. Even worse, Germany can start also adding in Fascism support to make your Non-Aligned support even lower.
I just did this, founded turan in 1944, first time as turkey. (playing on recruit helps with first time lmao)
The water from a rock joke had me rolling
bless your heart for suffering through this one!
Man I love border wars. Not only does it induce a bunch of buggy bullshit fueled rage, but it has killed multiple Guan Xi Clique runs just because I lose a random border conflict with China because why would you ever need to know what provinces to put your infantry in? Great mechanic 10/10
Thank man for that template single player i guess 13/7 heavy is so good as germany i didnt even used medium tanks and i still crushed them i also made king Tiger by 1941

Dear god, I like trains!
I hope they plan on adding competent AI aswell haha
For the border conflict does it have to be the entire army? It's been a while since they did it to me as turkey and I don't remember if it works the same but with the soviets I usually leave a fairly small army of like 20 20 w infantry on the Japanese ussr Korean border and I don't have to park everything there.
I literally encircled all of the Iraqi army and they had like only 1 division left. I just had to walk through their land. Great tutorial by the way.
55:03 that encirclement looks like old hubgary
hubgary
you did it!
You can mobilize the economy while having Etatism. The problem is that you take a stability and PP debuff and it decreases the bonus of -7% consumer goods to -5%. In my opinion it is totally worth to keep a mobilized economy with Etatism until you go to war against the soviets
Love your videos...but with tanks I have more success using lights (much faster). I feel the breakthrough with lights is sufficient but the speed completely counters anything in the med and heavy class. I bump the reliability and speed so they are 16 kp/h. Nothing the AI makes can keep up allowing for crazy pushes and encirclements
Hi there. I am following the guide but I do jot seem to be able to grow command power fast enough like you do in the video. What am I missing?
btw you can still take partial mobilization with etatism, you only lose 15 Stability and -0.15 Political Power
1:30 fun fact: the montreux convention is in force still to this day
11:20 being that you're swimming in Chromium as Turkey I would have gone for heavy tanks with cavalry. It's cheaper and 6.4 kmh is the speed of a heavy 2 with engine 3.
Later on you could add Mech or Amtracs. You'll have less tank divisions but they'll be god tier.
Heby T0nk is just too expensive in the long run and not needed. I prefer my speedy Meds, even if i have to import Tungsten for them.
@@Bitt3rSteel But heby is stronk! Big tonk crush fort and puny meds. Add amtrak to turn heby into big death machine. Port smash! River smash! Swamp smash!
