Yeah, I suppose smiling would definitely help, but (1) that wasn't the goal of the experiment, (2) this shows how much harder it is for people with social-anxiety ("shy" people) to avoid dying alone, and (3) he was polite and calm and non-threatening, so not smiling doesn't explain the ones who _ran away._ 🤨

yeah, me too. didn't quite get it. one Chinese here told that its a social experiment to check how many girls would date a man with social anxiety. however, i believe the answer was obviously from the start - nobody wants to date a loser. so i don't see the point of this video anyway.
