- Since my toddler takes 50 years to finish up in the bathroom, I decided to sit down for a chat. We had breakfast afterward, but the baby couldn't make up her mind about what she wanted.

My name's La Guardia Cross. I make music, art, film, and I co-created 2 baby girls with my wife, Leah.
New Father Chronicles began in November of 2014 when my daughter Amalah was 1-week-old. I had no idea what I was doing, so I decided to chronicle my journey on CZcams and make fun of myself along the way. Our 2nd daughter, Nayely, was born in April of 2017.
My channel is filled with the silly adventures I have with my girls, infant and toddler interviews, my interpretations of their babble, silly skits, and the things I've learned or unlearned as a parent. Sometimes Leah and I mix it up a bit and share some pretty personal moments as well. Why? Well, we're far from perfect and we've learned a lot from our mistakes. - Komedie

My dad helped me with my hair once. I was in 1st grade...
♡Mom was away for the week
♡Dad made my pig tails
♡Pigtails were crooked
♡Teacher pulled me out of class
♡Teacher asked who did my hair that morning
♡I said "My daddy did."
♡Teacher said "I thought so." So she fixed them
♡I went home with perfect pigtails
♡I'm 34 now and I still tell that story to my dad annually... at least once every 6 months.... then again sometimes every time we're visiting the grandparents and grandma does the girls hair and grandpa volunteers to help.
♡Oh and your girls are absolutely adorable and you do a wonderful job with their hair.

Lol my Daddy let me dress myself for preschool..my sweater was backwards..my socks were pulled up to my knees like a boy 😂😂 and he forgot to take the rollers out if my pigtails that were supposed to make them into candy curls.. needless to say..my mama got a call from my school asking what happened 😂😂..Daddies are the best
My dad did my hair for 2 year (kindergarten and 1st graded) because well he was a single dad so he just put my hair in a afro or in tiny braids then put bows and clips in my hair.
Until my sister start to learn to braid.

That's the cutest way to go. I love the cute little curly afros with colorful clips and bows tagging along. Did your dad ever use the bobbles? I still love those but they hurt so bad when they snap.
My husband has red hair, well now he's pretty much bald but as a young man he had bright red super curly red hair and every time his mom would brush it as a child, it would turn into a poofy little red afro. lol

You and Leah are doing your best, please don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Parents do not produce perfection, but those girls will remember all the good times, and ignore the tears. That innocence protects them from a lot of the hardships we bear. And the stories you tell them as they get older will astound them of how strong you two really are, and encourage them to do the same in their lives. Being our color brings a lot against us already, but Christ will see us through it all. Once again, be blessed 💕

I love to watch you spontaneously interact with your daughters, unlike some other videos (that I still really love to watch !). Especially with Nayely, since she’s a baby and can’t REALLY make sense with he words/babbling. It shows how creative you are.

Nayely’s getting so big now! Hearing her talk makes me so happy and so sad at the same time; I remember when she was just a newborn! And Amalah is the most articulate three-year-old I’ve ever seen! Good job La Guardia and Leah on raising two beautiful girls.
