    Ok finally installed. Let me tell you all, honestly, this is another level. Not only the efficency, the quality of the air is supernatural with fresh air and moisture feature, truly works
    the flow is powerfull yet it spread, it don’t punch you in the face, noise with tv on, you don’t ear it, it’s heating a 60m2 with 300wh even a room wich is placed two walls behind.

      I hope that with its release, however, it will prove that the many reliability problems of the previous model have been solved. In my opinion, normal problems that could not be easily identified due to limited production, but unjustifiable since it is of Japanese manufacture and not just design. Of course, this is a complicated machine, the failure of which requires not only knowledge and experience, but also the respectful observance of the manufacturer's instructions. Moreover, all this in a very expensive machine, so let everyone judge, based on the reliability of the previous model, what to expect from the new one.

    US7 cannot make “any” combinations of those, for example it cannot make heating and dehumidifying at the same time. Yes, nobody uses heat+dehumidifying at the same time but just wanted to clarify it :)
    Another thing is that it makes huge noise if the fresh air hose is in use, either for humidifying and/or fresh air; but it’s super silent when there is no fresh air and/or humidification. So, it’s absolutely no-go if you want to sleep close to the indoor unit when it’s providing fresh air..

    • @FullyAirconditioned
      @FullyAirconditioned  Před 2 lety +3

      The indoor unit has two coils, in the 1st coil the gas is condensed from a superheated vapour to a sub cooled liquid, passing its heat energy to the air passing over the coil. So in the 1st coil heat is added to the air. This liquid then pass through a electronic expansion before entering the 2nd coil in the indoor unit. The metering device dropping its pressure and temperature of the gas. The liquid gas starts turning into a vapour absorbing heat. So in the 2nd coil of the indoor unit, it remove heat from the air. As the coil cools the air being drawn in, it cooling it below its dew point. The moisture in the air turns into water dehumidifying the air. The refrigerant gas has absorbed the energy held in the air and reduced its temperature. Some of that energy has turned the moisture into waster or been transformed from sensible into latent heat. The water run out the drain hose and this energy is lost to outside. The air gets reheated by the 1st coil, more heat is added than removed dew to Enregy being lost to the water. The electrical heat energy from the compressor motor is also transferred to the refrigerant gas. So now there is extra heat from the compressor electric motor and the extra heat added to the converging the moisture from vapour to water. You may have noticed that an air conditioned will produce more heat then it removes or has a higher heat out put than cooling out put. And there for all air conditioned produce more heat than they remove. So the US7 can heat and dehumidifier at the same time, yes it can dew to the two coils in the indoor unit. But the amount of heat is not huge compared to the system just running on heating, but it is adding more heat than it’s removing. With the noise from running it on humidifier has the system been set up correctly, in the set up it asks for the pipe length of the humidifier hose, if this is not set or set at the wrong length the fan in the outdoor humidifying unit will run at a higher speed to overcome the static pressure of the steam hose making more noise. But yes there is some more noise when it’s in humidification mode. You may even try setting the hose length to the shortest setting to reduce noise.
      Thanks for your comment

    Hi! Thanks for the extensive review. Stil after reading many reviews I have doubts about the following: Does the unit also do well in moisturising a room/ increasing humidity when it at the same time cools the room? I have the feeling from reviews that it only does well in moisturising when it heats a room. I am very curious what your experiences are with that..

    • @FullyAirconditioned
      @FullyAirconditioned  Před 2 lety

      Hi Frans,
      It dose add moisture to a space when cooling, but the cooling process also removes moisture from the air. When you cool the air below the dew point the moisture in the air turns to water and runs out the drain. I think if it was compared to a standard air conditioning unit, cooling the same room with out humidifier function, the air with in that room would have a much lower humidity. But the fact that you are cooling (and removing moisture) at the same time as you are try to increase the humidity, the effect will be less than in heating mode. But it will be better than a system without humidification function. It will also depend on the humidity level your trying to achieve, this system is more designed for human comfort.
      Thanks

      The new Daikin Alira X has the same streamer technology as the us7, but doesn’t have the humidification function or roll filter. The better option would be a standalone air purifier. Daikin have 4 new models out and they are very good. We have the older one in our office up stairs and it has made a world of difference to the air quality in this space, odours dust and allergies. To give you an idea of how well it works, we had one our builders come into the office, smelling very badly of body odour with in a minute the Daikin air purifier detected air pollutants and set it self into high mode to address the current indoor air quality. With in 10 min the air quality was fine with no odours and the air purifier has slow done to its minimum setting, very impressed.

      @@FullyAirconditioned Thanks for the quick answer! Have you tested it yourself though? I read this on their website:
      "Daikin’s Dry Mode basically sucks the humidity out of the air to create a more comfortable living space. It does this by taking in the humid air, drying it in the evaporator, and releasing it back into your home in the form of dry air. In other words, the air-con will NOT blow out A LOT of cool air in this mode; it will merely dry the air and maintain a certain level of comfort as needed." > i fear this means it will still blow out colder air than the intake temperature, don't you think?

    • @FullyAirconditioned
      @FullyAirconditioned  Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@gekalskip The system achieves this as there are two coils of similar size so similar capacity. If the system is off loading its capacity the compressor is running at the net output may actually be heating the air as all air conditioners have higher heating capacity output than cooling. But the fact the there are two electronic expansion valves in the indoor unit, the level of refrigerant control into each coil should ensure minimal temperature change when in dehumidification function.
      A normal Daikin’s system has dehumidification functions, but it doesn’t reheat the air like this one, so with a normal system yes it will also cool the air as part of removing moisture, but not the us7.
