TRIO are mainstays of the acoustic cover scene in Melbourne, having joined forces after many years playing together in original bands, and separately in various professional musical pursuits including original and cover band around Melbourne.
Three voices and three acoustic guitars make up this dynamic trio, creating a big, rich sound, perfectly 'acoustifying' the hits of the last few decades. Their massive selection of songs include classics from OutKast, Mumford & Sons, Bon Jovi, Jason Mraz, James Taylor, Bob Dyland, The Beatles, Crowded House, Newton Faulkner, Elton John, Faith No More, Hunters & Collectors, Pete Murray, Jack Johnson, Paul Kelly, Jet, Kings of Leon, Ben Harper, Matchbox 20 and heaps, heaps more...
Residencies include long-term stints at Ivanhoe's Rue Bar, Crown Casino (Atrium Bar, The Pub, Lagerfield, Tangerine), Williamstown's Customs House Hotel, Arcadia and Equinox Bar, however TRIO have really made their name playing at wedding after wedding in 2010 and 2011, clocking an average of a wedding a week during this time!
Also well-loved for private functions, and particularly suited to 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th (and all of the years in between!) birthday parties and private functions in the client's homes or at venues hired for the occasion.
