Hey I don’t know if anyone is reading this but I have a Dell precision 1650 that I want to upgrade. I want this to be a budget gaming build. Does anyone have a list of possible parts I could use? I am new to this and I want a functional gaming/ school setup. I don’t know what I need, I want windows 10, I don’t know how to get it. I also want it to be fast and able to game.

Hey great video, do you know if the card has any gpu or psu lock? Like lenovo doesnt allow some amd cards, ima buy this motherboard and just run a random 450 watts power supply and a random case with probably an i5 3570k and a 1050ti, i hope it only needs a traditional psu to work

I happen to have rebuilt a t1650 and got it up and running, but I want to game with it, and my GPU requires alot more than the t1650 can manage, so I was wondering about taking the power supply and cords out of a t5500 and using it...is this possible?

      @@calvitocalvon1711 , I ended up buying a 450w PS from best buy.
The PS off the T5500 doesnt have the correct plugs to supply power to the MB let alone the moxie connection.
It was cheaper and easier for me to buy a new PS than it was to Frankenstein one.

The fastest desktop CPU you can install in the Precision T1650 is the i7-3770k. Dell doesn't list it on their supported processor list, but it does work if you have the latest BIOS installed, I think version A28. It also supports up to 32 GB of RAM. i.imgur.com/u5hgaRC.png
The reason you'd want the K model over the regular i7-3770 is the base clock is higher (3.5 vs 3.4 GHz). Dell's BIOS doesn't allow overclocking, but it can turbo boost up to 3.9 GHz.

I ve a dell optiplex 3020 MT and i got a brand new rx 570 4gb mining edition. i replaced the psu to a thermaltake 700w and i use a 24 pin to 8 pin connector for the the motherboard . My computer just works fine but when the GPU is installed the computer turns on, CPU fan is spinning / GPU fans too /the lights are on but no display, nothing shown on the screen. i put the the VGA cable to the convertor and then i plug it into the GPU. the computer turns on but no boot and nothing shown on the screen again . and when i plug the VGA cable into the motherboard it works and i can see the GPU information on CPUZ. .i updated the bios to the latest version that i found on dell website, and put the boot mode on UEFI . i put secure boot OFF and legacy option roms ON? but the same thing happened. so what other ways i can try ? ? Note i m plugging the 8 in the GPU and every other cable is plugging properly.
