ATLS is the protocol developed by American college of surgeons to assess and manage trauma patients efficiently. All medical students and clinicians should know these protocols to manage trauma patients successfully.
All my videos are problem based, because patients are coming to us with problems and not with diagnosis. I have made a playlist for each surgical problem which consist of many videos. I request you all to watch all the videos in the playlist together so that you will become confident in dealing with these problems.

One more question: on the slide for circ and hemorrhage, should your advice be reversed about MAST/PASG and Tourniquets? My understanding is that MAST/PASG has been de-emphasized, and that tourniquets in emergency cases are recommended.
In the emergency situation we are likely to forget to remove the tourniquet that is why it is not recommended.

DR, why never use NaHCO3, vasopressin or steroid in resuscitation?
I referred to you in my presentation today and my instructor wondered why?
What I meant to say is because it is hypovolemic shock don't treat it just with vasopressin, steroids and NaHco3 but along with these agents you must give enough fluids as well. I failed to include the word never use only these agents but include fluids as well
