- How Rose likes to help our Filipino community so that everyone here lives just a little bit better life . See how hard the Filipino guys work for free to better the community! I hope you enjoy seeing how people work together to make life a little bit better for more people than just themselves. enjoy watching how the children have fun playing with the simple things in life. I love seeing how kids here enjoy pushing around an old motorcycle tire with a stick. Thats decade's gone by in the USA. Very smart decision in paving the road because it helps fast transfer of goods from that point going to the town. Hi sis This is Rose, No sis,politics in our country is rotten from the small government to the higher, If I will be in the public service I will tons of eneimies, I reside her for over 10 years now and I see too much not good stuff going on,
I Have been helping my community since I got here,and yes like you they all wanted me to run for office, with the belief that I can always do more and better..And my answer is always No, I can serve without being necessarily in the office, I will help according to what I can afford, without making enemies, This way I can live with total peace, Im Just so very happy,and very grateful to all my friends and youtube family for helping me and trusting to make this huge project very possible.
I have our farm of our own and I handle it alone,I dont have time to spare talking and dealing with people in the govt. that is full of B.S...Im not generalizing them..but I can say some of them.. Dont get me wrong there are still very good public servant out there and I thank them for their good service.

Hey guys, community work is near and dear to my heart (my father was very dedicated to community service and instilled that in me). I am so glad to see you doing a small thing that touches peoples lives each and every day - multiple times per day. One thing I don't think people realize they can do to support you if they don't donate directly is to watch the video all the way through and allow each commercial / ad to play all the way through so you get paid more. If it is a long ad, a lot of times I get up and get a drink or do something else to kill the time. I know this puts more $$ in your pocket so that it goes to the path and your neighbors. Hey, you really are a real-life superhero! Burning rocks with your bare hands to clear the path to your house. I can only imagine the looks on your neighbors' faces when they saw you go full-on pyromaniac on those rocks. I'm pretty sure if the Avengers needed a new member, you'd be at the top of the list. But all jokes aside, your hard work and determination are truly impressive.

It is good that you guys used the rough texture on the surface. That is a big project, I hope that the government is providing some support. When it rains I bet that path is unusable. You can use a wheel barrel or cart to carry their products to market, that is a life changer on the back. The thing is that this will be an ongoing forever project unless the community adopts it. Keeping it cleaned off and then the Philippines ground has a tendency to shift which will cause cracking. The thing is there are always a million reasons not to do something but you guys didn't let that stop you. By the way Randy, my wife and I were commenting on how you and Rose are so photogenic. I have a face that was made for radio and the coming of the digital camera did me no favor. Take care guys.

Nice walk/bike path, We had typhoon Odette pass over our place a little more than a year ago so we had rebuild many of my wifes siblings homes and many of path ways were blocked by downed tress and we're still cleaning things up around here.
That is so wonderful of you Journey, Filipino are realy great people,,they are respectful and loving,even if they are shy but they are wonderful people.
Great video. That walkway is very impressive. Hauling all the materials for your homes and the path is incredible.. I can see why you love living there because it is like a private park only shared by a few relatives and friends. Way to go guys.

Greetings from Seattle... Beautiful house, beautiful nature, only downside, no driveway, not very accessible ... How do you get up to the house ? can you drive a car or do you have to walk to the house ? Do you have a garage ? It looks so remote, so removed from everything
We only have motorsicle here, our pathways is still in progress,Randy and I and the rest of our family and the community is currently working on a project of concreting our pathway the community pathway, we posted a video of the update in this project.. This is mainly finance by Us and some donations from youtube family ,and the community itself, all labor work,hauling is free and done by our family and community.
This is not realy a remote remote,,We have access to ellectricty,good water source and a very good internet connection. Its just the road for we are loavated a little bit far from the main toin or barangay, Yes we are in the mountain,,we are mountain people.

For the same amount of cement and sand I would split the concrete and widen it to cover space for a vehicle to come, leaving the middle uncovered by cement, like a two-way foot path😂😂😂😂.

I got here 2014, so FAR they have made 3 sets of projects, first 50 meters, then next is kalahi cidds not government they gave us 100meters, then 3 years later government gave us another set of 150 meter that was 2020, They say we have to wait,hahah.. Its why we decided to start this project by ourselves,,who will wait for another 3 or 5 years .
