- A KSP - ish story test run. With big ol ships and stations. ALL CRAFTs and SSTO ships are built for story only and do NOT work without the KRAKEN DRIVE for infinite fuel or thrust. The warp drive is simple movie editing magic. I would use the cheat menu to hyper-edit ships around and kill gravity to simulate warp drive and anti-gravity.

THE CHANNEL:
This channel is about Kerbal Space Program and can consist of SSTO building tutorials and rocket building tutorials. Some times the videos contain bad language and adult humor but on a low level. In these videos no planet is safe as we can explore space together by landing on places like Duna and Jool and build large Duna colonies or orbital space stations. Also, Interplanetary SSTO builds seem to be a hot topic in the KSP community so I will be touching on those as well. I also build SSRT space craft. These are fun to build and easy to fly! Warships or space warships are one of my favorite things to make. Stock weapons can be very challenging and so when building them over time , you get to see the evolution of the designs. Same thing with the Warships. They get better and better with each new design.
Now , I know it's considered cheating but Kraken drives are a fun way to put things like warp drive ( like in Star Trek ) and or hyper drives ( like in Star Wars ) in your Kerbal space program game. These game mechanic loopholes are fun to figure out as you find out how they work and how to incorporate them into your star ship design.
Everything from Outposts on far away moons and Mining Stations around asteroids and comets, you name it I've ether built it or it's on my to do list! I still haven't really explored things like building SpaceX starship or any of the NASA spacecraft, and I think that's because it been done to many times. Recreations of spacecraft can be found almost everywhere on CZcams now and so making yet another one seem redundant. Only if the spacecraft recreation is of one that I loved as a kid will I even attempt to build it. Like the Apollo Moon Lander, or the whole Apollo rocket! Now that rocket was cool!
Many people have ask me if I'm ever going to wear my Mandalorian helmet ever again for my videos. And , yes. when the time is right, and I get a new wabcam, I will be dawning the helmet once more!

Dude that was awesome. BUT... if you are serious about this - I had the same issue because I wanted to key out my crafts just as you do and putting green flags around it kiiinda worked but it was way to complicated. So eventually I've managed to replace KSP's skybox with a greenscreen. That's how I recreated the ST Strange New Worlds Intro (scene 23/24 is almost complete and I hope to release it very soon). Thing is, you can't really play it anymore because literally everything beside from celestial bodies is a eye soring green now. But for recording and editing magic it's a game changer! I guess to have two instances of KSP installed could solve that. One for regular, one for green screen recording
Can you release that mod?
Also please more of that story telling, you really have a knack for this. I just say solar nations. I literally binge watched that and was so sad when I realized there wasn't going to be more

Me likey this was so focking cool! i recommend taking an look on why different VFX have different colors so you can find one best suited to these videos. Green for example is famous for "bleeding into things" like you mentioned here 3:42

That station with the ships looks SO amazingly cool!!!! I wish my PC could handle that much stuff all at the same location in a playable state.
I'm 20 seconds in and already blown away. Vaos, you really have a talent for putting scenes together in KSP. I don't know how long it takes you to get these shots but gosh I hope it isn't too much because it's always beautiful and I want to see more.

Fun idea for ya, if you have a ksp save that is specifically for these types of ships deactivate drag from the cheat menu might be easier to get the ships through certain shots

Some of the screen panning with a fixed background looks rough and choppy while panning. Buuuuut I really enjoyed it. The warp in distortion was great.

I love the small smuggler warpship, it looks amazing and the folding nacelles are awesome. Think I might try and build my own version with the Blueshift mod once I can wrap my head around how it works. Also for whatever reason I can't find the Galaxies Unbound mod on or off CKAN, the most recent I've found is a KSP forum post from 2020 that has no download link and says it's still WIP. Are you using a creator-only beta or am I just dumb?
I love how you took the TIME and HOURS............. Setting up a green screen, only for A GIZMO like my self to tell you that you could of done this with reshade and (connect into the depth buffer of the game making the background all green in just seconds.
this is why you need friends Vaos lol... i bet this was utterly painful haha
