This is wild, but about a decade ago I was trying out karate. I knew their setups and techniques are different than boxing. So I came across this channel back then and was watching the videos. Now I found this channel again and videos are still being made lol. Incredible.
I'm starting boxing early next year. I've been doing research everyday on what boxing shoes, gloves, mouthguard etc that I should buy. Your blogs have been really helpful in navigating everything. The old school advice from the Frank Dunlap blog is really helpful too. I like turning to the old school ways in a lot of things, so that blog is really helpful. Thank you, the content is great. 💯
Hey brother, hope you've been well! Thanks to your advice I got myself a pair of 16oz Necalli boxing gloves and they been amazing for all my training! Just a question though, I used to train with 12oz Fairtex BGV9 gloves (bought them 9 years ago). They were good in a way where my arms became very strong because of the dense padding and the smaller size gloves. I was wondering, is there a pair of Velcro 12oz 'hard' gloves you could recommend me? Lastly, my condolences to your father's passing, may he rest in peace! Much love, George

And when use Drag Step in boxing and ALso how to Drag Step and Step Drag use in mid range , CLose range and to use Drag Step or Step Drag in boxing use it inside or outside and ALso when to be fLat footed inside and out , cLose range , mid range and when to be your toes ,Aka Drag Step or Step Drag in boxing .

I don't use 12oz. But if you want lighter gloves, give Rival a try.
