Dishonored was supposed to be a fun, short FPS with a simple story that would sell a million copies or so.
Its only purpose was to make money, namely, make money for me, someone whos been cheated or..."dishonored" many times. But because the video game industry is so awful, a game I put only a medium amount of effort into has become a franchise now, with a sequel.
This is because bethesda/zenimax wants more of your money. Not because they give a single shit about you, but because it will sell millions again.
It does not matter if you thought every one of your 60(or 5) dollars spent on dishonored 1 was money well spent or not, you were cheated.
Cheated of content. a story. of a game. Cheated of the ability to help me. This game was ONLY made so that "59" would get money for making a successful video game.
I was not. My game, awarded GOTY, made me $0.
Bethesda/zenimax are so stupid they cant even pay me 0.2% of dishonoreds revenue, for a game that literally only exists so that it would.

I am dumbfounded every time I think about the situation as a whole. I design a video game so that it very easy to develop, and sell via it being a decent game. I literally name it dishonored, after my own dishonor, and say "just give me a percentile of its profits". They still cheat me? Why?

Viktor Antonov was the head of art for dishonored. That an artists work is similar should not be a surprise. Antonov vision of what a dystopian world should look like is seen in the art style of Dishonored.

Well firstly you should have a back up of the original code, and you should have been smart enough to patent and/or copyright your work!
The only way legally, bethesda could have used your work is if you were employed, by contract to work for them. then technically it isn't your work, it is literally, but in reality you are an employee, so you have no cause for gripe, you signed the contract.
I am genuinely curious to whether this video is 100% bullshit, or you are telling the truth. if it is the latter, despite your creativity, you don't seem to be the sharpest tool in the box.

The extra ending Bethesda included would indicate Corvo being exiled without honor or ever being remembered for what he'd done just because he was double-crossed. Sound like you? Probably. Because there is a BIG difference between having an idea for something and implementing it and turning it into something successful. Can we get a little more detail maybe? Who are you? Where's evidence that this game was your idea or creation? What parts of the game did you create? What parts of it were your ideas or taken directly from your head? And so on.
True. My Idea for Dishonored 2 was an assassin with rope launcher as a new tool in an open world. And then there was AC Syndicate. But I'm not the creator of AC Syndicate. I just had a similar idea, and yeah, it's extremely similar to my idea's (There's'even an outfit in the game that looks like the concept art I created) But I didn't develop it, so fuck it.

since that time they have patched the game and changed the credits, most likely due to the fact that this game has cheated so many people, they've had to change names and position.

2. Any game which plagiarizes Half-Life 2 is good in my book. That's a selling point! In lieu of Half-Life 3, I would accept a cheap carbon copy.
3. Most people I know never buy games at full price. If it ain't 50% the original price, I ain't buying.
4. You're basically saying you are the game's creator but lost control of the IP. It's hard to sympathize with you. I understand the actions of money-grabbing publishing studios. I expect shady dealings from video game studios. What I'm really interested in, which I didn't hear in the first 4 minutes of your video, is why or how you lost control of the IP, because that will determine whether I feel sympathy for your "cause".
Bethesda (or Arkane Studios for that matter, because the people at Bethesda are the PUBLISHERS not the CREATORS) don't prove you wrong only because it would be a waste of time. No one believes you to begin with. They don't have anyone stop you because this is a pathetic attempt to expose Bethesda. A majority of people enjoyed this game including me and I'm looking forward to what Dishonored 2 has in store. It's not wrong if you dislike a game. Hell, it's not wrong if you make a pathetic rant video. But the difference between this and a regular old rant video, is that you begin bashing on Bethesda (which as a friendly reminder, is the PUBLISHER of Dishonored not the developer) is a bad company for "half-assing" they're product.
"The aesthetics are the same as Half Life" - Same art director
"All the enemies are the same" - OK, name a game in which every enemy has a different player model
"The textures for walls are bland" - Is the color and look of a wall what you care about in a game?
i play a game to have fun, to have something when i know this will not be for nothing (like Call Of Duty for example).
With Dishonored it was really fun to play, and it was really long for me to complete.
I mean in the end if someone did buy this game it was because he wanted to have fun, to have something new with this game, nothing more nothing less so come on stop complaining all day because you didn't have fun with this game.
