I have a couple Eufy doorbell cameras and neither has ever totally obeyed it’s settings.
They’re supposed to machine learn to recognize your face so it doesn’t always alert for familiar faces. But it ALWAYS alerts to my face, dozens of times, but I’ve watched strangers walk right to my door and it doesn’t trigger.
And no matter where I draw the alert zone, it just doesn’t care, it misses stuff right through the centre of that zone every single day. And you can not set them to continuously record, to avoid missing triggers.

@ConcordCarpenter no I haven't asked for a return.
I dont think it's the hardware though, because it's the same glitch happening between 2 different units, and they're not the same model either.
So my guess is it's just the software.

I have mine set on a default position but the camera keeps turning around facing the pole it’s mounted on. Pretty much 24/7 the camera has been turned around facing the pole. If I pan it around towards the driveway it says “limit has been reached” and as soon as I get off the app, it turns right back around towards the pole. I saw another review on Amazon of someone having the same issue. Eufy is out of stock of these cameras and won’t be able to send me another one until mid April.

I just set one of these up today. Really sucks that this model doesn't support cloud storage. I only found out after the fact!

Not vandal proof either. So if its destroyed, stolen or taken--so is the recording data. Definitely not good!!

can you record continuously, or is it once motion detected and once motion detected how long does it record for/ i know certain camera will stop after one or two minutes
