  • This is my test ride with the Peugeot XP 400 GT (2023). A very nicely styled scooter with a premium feel for a premium price :)

I have actually rented this bike twice here in Germany. It is heavy. The windprotection is not good as Honda adv 350. During the first time I rented this bike, it was coming through the foot boards. It does not any brake like adv 350/750. It uses quite a of fuel 4.3 litre per 100 km. Let see updates this bike 2024.

Thank you very much for your videos, they are short but informative. It’s very good that you show the seat height and the ability to stretch your legs forward, this is very useful.

Thank you for your review. Yes, its hard to see what market they're aiming at. Piaggio Beverly 400 is about 197kg. Kymco ak550 227kg dry. Sym Maxysm TL508 227kg dry. This Peugeot 231 wet.
So higher engine performance compared to a 300cc scooter, is largely negated by overcoming the inertia of the extra weight. So why buy?
Any of the Honda 330cc scooters will give you good performance, and wet weights in the 172 to 186kg range.

Hello, thanks. Yes I did do the test ride already, but for my German channel. I am not sure when it will come to the English channel. I have a very big back log. Sorry about that.

Are there many Japanese scooters? Most are built in Thailand or Indonesia or China…..

The tach goes counter clockwise. Odd.

Great review! I’d want more performance and lower weight for this price, though …

Just wondering, being a Peugeot, how’s the reliability of these scooters?

Unfortunately, this I cannot answer you.

The only logical reason I can see to buy this over the competition is the looks, and if you want to stand out by riding something unique.
Not a good recipe for sales success, Peugeot.

Too heavy, too expensive, too slow, too late to the show, Japanese bikes have nothing to fear!
