I hate people who just critique but there is no way this is a permitted install. If it is your local jurisdiction does not know the code. Office space...esp because the windows are often fixed...are required to have outside air. It is not a case of "if you want it". Could be 15 cfm or more per occupant which could be a 4" ducts connecting to an 8" duct and a variable speed, controllable fan.
However, good install. And everything you say is great...for a residential install

I got a hi wall WindFree for 7 months now. It works very quietly and cools my bedroom in a few minutes! It's sad that here in Brasil, Samsung, don't sell this mini 4way cassette apart from the DVM.

I never realized the multizone units had multi connectors for the refrigerant lines for each room, which makes sense. I always thought about running the flex to different rooms like in centralized air-conditioning. Also, having a washable filter is absolutely awesome. Are the condensation pumps pretty standard installations, regardless of the gravitational effect? What do you think would be the best way to run the refrigerant lines in multi story complexes, where it gets a little more hairy? Thank you for this video. I’ve only had the opportunity to work with one Samsung system and it was pretty sophisticated. Did you ever notice how quiet the Samsung supply vents are, as well as their condensers? You can barely tell they are on. They run pretty smoothly. I would love to have your mini split system, sizing, instruction aid. I’m always looking to improve my performance. Lastly, I believe you mentioned 10 inches from the top of the cassette to the ceiling of the attic? Pretty cool Taddy. I’m just starting in the industry and just waiting for another opportunity to work out in the field. Was that your Son working with you in the roofing video with the 12 inch screws. That was pretty awesome to watch. You normally don’t see dad’s with their kids helping them. He’s going to be a super tech if he keeps working with you like that. Take care.

I’m looking for info on one and two way cassettes. I’m replacing my whole house HVAC and designing a system with multiple mini splits. Because of the floor plan we have and how we use our house, this makes the most sense for us. I’m very interested in a VRF system as well as air treatment to ensure we have the highest air quality possible. Any insight you have on these systems is much appreciated.

Nice looking install. My area requires me to place unistrut around the all thread after a certain length and also requires airplane cable from every corner of the unit. In my opinion its over the top but something others should keep in mind.

If everyone used half decent thick copper coils and not tried to save $$ on copper then they should not have to be replaced. Have they gotten any thicker or better? Nice neat good lookin work you have there.

Silly question - if the outdoor condenser unit can be installed in attic when there is no space outside for it whatsoever?
You can not install the outdoor unit in the attic
It has to be installed outdoors

@@TaddyDigest Tad, Dave here. I really like LG appliances. The ones I've owned work until I get tired of looking at them, and see the need to replace them with newer LG appliances. This IS One Awesome Video! These ceiling cassettes look super clean! I think I like these better than a wall mounted head unit. I wonder if this would be a better fit in a large living room with 8-10 foot ceilings? Very clean install!

Mounting those in place in a drop ceiling has to be sucky. How hard was it to run the refrigerant lines to each unit?
It was new construction there was no grid no drop ceiling
So we were able to run the line sets pretty easily
How many thousands of dollars is that fancy system..
About eight thousand dollars

And the other guy is right, really need some better copper so we don't have to come back and patch up the holes few years later 🤣
