The Helstrum and Verglas are the best sentinel weapons by far. Helstrum fires a burst of seeking missiles with high status chance and forced impact on hit, so it constantly staggers enemies by coating them with status and its the best alternative to the Panzer vulpaphyla to spread viral. Verglass does good single target dps.
All the other sentinel weapons need to be absolutely maximized to be even slightly worth it, and even then they don't come close to these two lol.
Fatal attraction is the worst mod you can put on Djinn as its not invincible during the cast, and enemies have a habit of shooting it instead of being passively attracted so its just an easy way to get it killed in a couple seconds. Never use it. If it made Djinn invincible while casting and a second or two after it would be worth it. Thumper means the Djinn has the longest attack range in the game which pairs very nicely with the Helstrum.
Thanks for the heads up on those two sentinal Weapons. I know now what I can do as a side project since I am content dry in Warframe 😅
The Helstrum can deal pretty decent damage with proper setup. I have a +MS +Dmg -Infested on my primer build and it can comfortably kill enemies up to sorties level.
@@sanguin3 forgot which companion gives Helstrum again. Wasn’t it the MOA’s? If it was. I have disposed of that weapon sadly.

The nautilus is a highly underrated companion. The [cordon] ability constantly groups everything within 30 meters. If you ever used ensnare you know how absurd grouping abilities can be, it is very convenient to have the entire room pulled into 1 spot
Before vacuum was universal to all sentinals, Carrier was the ONLY one who could use this mod to the point where you pretty much wouldn't usually see other companions in public sessions.

So, verglas with viral heat and apptitude can get its status up to 105.4 with a dmg of 600 ish, great little thing that can take out stuff in steel path with you, or flood a dude with 90 heat procs and watch them burn to death
Wyrm is the best for Eidos cause of Negate, also Carrier being pretty good now cause of the ammo changes. Sentinel weapons are also pretty good stat sticks for the Augur and Vigilante set mods

As beginner get helios for scans then as you get the codex entries even for plants get oxylus since you need plant scans for apothetics so you can get the rare mods from shrines on random earth missions (run that on base starchart missions since there you dont need pets to help you anyway). Outside of those 2 just get smeeta kavat for resource farming and panzer vulpa for endurance/SP missions, thats it, all other pets are either way too situational or useless

i hope we get a diriga prime one day because i only like to use primes and that diriga skin in the hydroid pack is so nice. ngl it really is a shame that a skin as good as that is locked to a single sentinel.
Deathcube with energy regen is pretty nice for early energy problems
My carrier prime uses the Verglas, was lucky enough to come across a riven for that weapon, and now my lil guy deals 170% status beam of death.
Drigia with one of the bond mods can be used to spread AOE of whatever status you want

Verglas ( the weapon from Nautilus ), is actually a REALLY good Sentinel weapon that should be equipped on all of them.
Put all the 60/60 mods on it =, Shred and the Vigilante mods and watch your floating buddy burn the world.
nice rundown of the sentinels though i am going to disagree with your statement on the verglas sentinel weapon. it is actually the best of the sentinel weapons because unlike the other sentinel weapons the verglas stats are a copy&paste of a primary weapon, the Glaxion. it also has the highest status chance of all the sentinel weapons meaning you can build it to prime enemies for either condition overload melees or galvanized status mods on your guns, seriously it may not be the best compared to primary weapons but the stats are copied from a primary weapon which is more than i can say for the other sentinel guns (not to mention the vigilante set mods you can add) granted the verglas is a beam weapon with only single target application, if you want something like it but with a small AOE and more multishot, you can get the helstrum from Legs in fortuna, its pretty much a sentinel version of a swarm missile launcher, again not so much for dmg but for application of status effects. and is honestly the only other sentinel weapon id get if i wasn't able to farm railjack for nautilus(also inculding the sentinel weapons from Legs would be nice in the video too)
(Psst shred works on the verglas too, put it on a whiplash mine moa and he will hose down most of them, mostly killing them)

Fun fact: if you revive djinn while it’s reawakening (using repair dispensary or hard reset), you get an additional reawaken timer for the rest of the mission. You do this like 4/5 times and it essentially gets an infinite regen
For me if I'm running steelpath it has to be panzer fupafeeler. Otherwise just gotta settle with knowing that it might be able to make it half way through, but its guarantied to be gone before I get to the end.
Verglas aka The kill stealer. Try leveling up your melee with the Verglas installed on your sentinel.
My favorite sentinals are Helios. Oxylus. Dethcube. And Carrier in that order.
You missed the Sentinel weapons from Legs in Fortuna. Most of them are trash, except for Cryotra and Helstrum which is decent and fun to watch. And Verglas is by far the best single-target sentinel weapon out there. If you think otherwise, you haven't modded it right (don't forget Fired Up on the sentinel itself).
I left Legs's weapons out intentionally since they aren't sentinel specific. Also I prefer Taxon's weapon
Built death cube the day it came out. Was going to get wyrm but then this beautiful beast came out the next day. By far my favourite because it's an angry cube of death, and you can make it look silly.... oh I mean it would be my favourite if the MIGHTY SEER wasn't the best sentinel
Sentinels are there for Mastery although Helios is great for collecting all the Codex stuff as you say and scanning tunes for the orbiter.

my carrier prime was my right hand man for most of the game until they added fetch for companions. then my smeeta took its place
also i had built an insane build on my vulklok that was able to one shot most enemies on the star chart, but unfortunately it only shoots one shot every 3s

Sentinels can be quite useful, not everything is about survival. I agree with the the second part though.
@@QuadLyStop Yup but while I like some companions like helminth kubrow and nychus Moa they don’t compare to panzer. It’s too efficient and provides a lot of utility. DE could easily solve this issue tho.

There is the assault mode mod. Some sentinels also come with other mods with special attack patterns

The best sentinel weapon is definitely Verglas, it can even kill steel path enemies if modded right. I've had some instances where i used khora's ensnare and Verglas outright killed the ensnared enemy before it could even pull in more enemies, which was annoying but my mistake tbh.. Fun to watch a useless sentinel kill steel path enemies tho.
Nah. Best is the Helstrum. AoE status application plus surprisingly decent direct damage. Garunteed impact procs on the main target too.

Point and click. You have to anticipate where the fish will go and throw a bit in front of it. You should be able to get fish really fast this way.
