What a lovely ending, and all because you listened to her Mia. I have just retired my 8 year old Thoroughbred with similar neurological issues. He is a kind horse, really tries, but out on rides, he would suddenly spin and bolt for no apparent reason. I consulted my vet, who discovered this neurological problem stemming from a back issue and underdevelopment in his pelvis (he is 17.3hh and was in race training at 18 months old - too much, too soon). A horse communicator worked with him, and found out he'd had a very hard life, just like Callie. He will stay with our family and his herd for the rest of his life, with no work pressure. We just need to listen to them, and you show us how Mia, thank you. x
The race horse business is so hard and cruel all over the world
Big appreciation for the riding school to accept their financial loss and ensure that Callie can live. And huge appreciation for Mia for evaluating her, reassuring her, and connecting her with a person who has given her a wonderful future as herd member. Very emotional and positive. 🙏🐴🍀
Callie must have been whipped to bleed, to get those scars.
I've no words.
It's a new life girlie.
I'm in awe of the compassion shown by everyone, to the riding school, to Mia, to the wonderful lady who is going to give Callie her forever home. God bless you all for your kindness to this lovely mare.
Thank you Mia. Thanks to the riding school for their compassion. Hope Callie does well .❤️
Happy ending for a deserving horse!
May our Creator bless with health, strength and financial power all who are involved in rescuing this horse! Thank you for such a wonderful story, Mia!
Such a beautiful, sweet, kind, horse.😊
Big appreciation for the riding school to accept their financial loss and ensure that Callie can live.
That is the best possible solution. Thank you Mia. That was very emotional for you. You got a great vet also.
I’d seen another vid where a horse purchased became suddenly absolutely crazed and angry when saddled shortly after purchase. the father immediately got their vet to come and assess their new one. sure enough an (old) injury was found and with theirs fortunately a solution. there were weeks of special exercises with the horse before he could be safely ridden. just by his behavior you could see improvement. this mare is lovely!
Thank you checking on her and sharing that she is doing well. So happy for you to no more abuse ❤️❤️❤️
What humankind put animals through is just unspeakable… 💔 I’m so glad and relieved that everyone came together to find a solution for her. 🙏
The places that you are palpating on her back and girth area are classic points for ulcers. Stomach scoping only show ulcers in the stomach but not the rear gut/intestines.
Yes she probably also had ulcers and she did get a treatment to be sure and help her get a new start in her new life. But she also had several injuries…
Oh, certainly! Neurologic positive tests confirmed that she had neck/spinal issues - her low fetlocks in the back end also suspicious for DSLD but with the whip marks and chest scaring, I was wondering if she was harness broke and made to haul loads too heavy for her weight? Will never know - poor girl - but with happy ending!
i would like to send this sweet horse healing... i live in the uk and have experienced the Irish ways. i am glad she met u.. love your work
Oh this makes me SO happy I am crying in relief knowing that Callie will be safe with friends and huge pastures with who sounds like a wonderful woman with a huge heart this is the life Callie deserves THANK YOU Mia for giving her this opportunity!!🥹🦋🤍🐎🌼🌻
I get so angry how much pain is done to this beautiful creatures by bad people for money. Could not keep it dry watching this video. Very happy to see Callie enjoying freedom and no more pain. Thanks for the riding school to adopt her and not go for the money. Big 👍 Luckily our mare from Ireland has no injuries or pain that we know of but the way she reacts or reacted to unexpected things and touching we now she is not treated very well. I learned a lot of your videos how to tread such a horse. Thanks👍
A very good ending for what was probably an abused horse...
THank you for the beautiful ending of the video, so lovely what you can do for horses. Thank you😊
Thank you Mia for making this possible for Callie. Sweet precious soul deserved a chance to live a peaceful life ❤🙏❤️
Also grateful for the Equine School for agreeing to allow Callie to be free 🙏
Yet again you have turned misery into happiness x
I am so sorry sweet Mare for the bullies bringing harm to you...... beautiful days ahead is my prayer 🙏 for you....❤
Thank you to Mia, the riding school and to the sanctuary :)
How fantastic of you, the riding school and the new owner.
It really warms the ❤
Amazing
Mia you are a very kind person and you are a blessing to all of us.
Omg how could anyone hurt a horse in that way,she has so much trauma, hope she can have a forever home and no demands made of her
Thank you Mia.
Love from Greece.
Thank you for sharing Callie’s story. Thank you for giving her the opportunity to live her best life. ❤
Bye beautiful Callie. Good luck in your new home 🏡. With lots new friends. And all the green grass you can eat beautiful girl. I miss seeing you. What a shame. It makes me sick how people can do this to beautiful Callie.
Please don't give up on her, she deserves a chance at a happy life.
Thank you
You and your team are amazing. A wonderful ending to a sad story. What a beautiful sanctuary she went to. ❤
Thank you so much for this, I am so relieved!
fantastic for this little mare!!!
This is so sad. She's such nice girl. Just so much abuse! Maybe bc of the neck injury she would resist certain things & they didn't understand that she could not so they tried to force her & so she had to go on the defensive to protect herself.
Thank goodness she came to you so you could tell her story.
Thank you so much for helping this mare!
Sometimes angels wear black.
Bravo !!!
Thank you for taking the time to discover her probable story and help she needs. Shame on the horse traders they must be really desperate for money. So sad that anyone thinks that whipping a horse is an option 😢
So glad you have found a happy home for her , thank you for what you do and how much you care. X
Well done to the riding school too!
Desperate for money OR just greedy.
This was very interesting and informative. Clearly there was no way this mare could serve as a riding horse. I am happy she has a herd to retire into
Thank you so much to Mia, the riding school and the woman who accepted Callie to sanctuary. All lives matter. In Callie’s short life she has lived through so much. Horses are dolphins of the land. Many blessings to Callie and all the horses in the world. Namaste.
What a sweet ending! I hope Callie lives a happy life, doing her new job... taking care of the land with her herd. I clicked on part 1 of her story because we share the same name, and I'm so glad I did.
I am so happy everything turned out for the best for her. ❤ Big thanks to the Riding School, Mia and the New Owner!!!! - May Callie live happily in her new herd! ❤
Lovely girl. ❤❤❤❤
Those damned evil bastards that's not even the same horse that's in the first video!!!!!!!
I hope whoever did this rots in Hell!
The poor folks from Denmark who bought this horse over a video got taken and then this poor horse who has had a nothing but a horrible life was swapped out and basically the bastards just took the money and ran..Hell does not run hot or cold enough for people like this. I'm so grateful this horse has gotten a new lease on life. Who knows if she pulled carts or what the hell she did. Mia you have given her a new lease on life. Thank God for this poor creature, the riding school is wonderful and loving.
Moral of the story.. don't buy a horse sight unseen over a video..too many people to take advantage in the middle. The riding school they bought the horse they thought they were getting Callie from, might have been taken advantage of as well.
A happy ending to what could have been a miserable story.
Callie is such a beautiful grey mare the first episode had me tearing up as she was so anxious and shut down,it hurt my heart to see her so worried and wondering if people were still going to push her into doing something she feared. You can definitely see the changes in her demeanor compared to the first episode as she’s learning that human touch can be a wonderful experience Mia truly has a gift for giving horses a new lease on life;poor girl as someone who lives with arthritis and chronic pain with spastic muscles,I have a understanding of how she feels it isn’t comfortable. Thank you Mia for all you do for eques these precious souls who have given mankind so much over the centuries,I also commend her owners for realizing she needs more help than they can provide but I truly hope Callie has a good life at least if she’s not able to be ridden that she can be comfortable as a pasture pet.🤍🤍
How about some water therapy? That way there is no pressure on her body, but you can build up her muscles and rehabilitate her.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I really wonder if she was in an accident while being trailered and has some generalized muscular trauma. A nicely built horse
Awe....poor baby, no one deserves to be beaten with a whip!
❤
“Reputable” horse trader indeed!
Mia she is presenting like she has chronic ulcers and with all the travel it would make sense. Check out the palpitation test/areas for
Ilcers and maybe get her scoped? It doesn’t make sense that she was jumping and schooling in 1 video then unridable on delivery. Unless the accident happened during the journey but surly they would know that?
I showet out she got her chip cut out and replaced a new one in the other side of the neck. It wasn’t the same horse as in the sale video, they replaced it with a slaughter horse. And she is never going be a slaughter horse🥰
We did give her ulcer treatment, just to make her heal🥰
A chiropractor would do her wonders. It would give her sooooo much relief.
Someone obviously hurt that horse, and that really sadens me 😢
Werden ihre Verletzungen denn nicht behandelt?
❤🫀🫶🏻
Please have them take a few xrays and treat her for ulcers🫶🏻
She did get ulcer treatment🙂
❤
🥲
