    It sucks but atleast these are problems that are easily fixed. For the storage, i recommend buying a rubber strainer and put it on the hood, you can then put a bag in it. Fenders, i actually had a fenders on my 2018 scrambler, but everybody i know they put it away because last thing you want when you get on flip on the side or when u touch a ground with the side while riding it will rip a lot more.

  • @jamesstergar7784

    1) No Winch - This will fix itself in the future. I spoke with several manufactures such as KFI and we will start seeing aftermarket winch mounting plates very soon. This way we don't have to stick with the overpriced Polaris winch.
    2) No LED Headlights - Already fixed that with $17 LED bulbs off Amazon but ya I agree, Polaris should have included LED bulbs.
    3) No on board storage - The rear box is just good for keys, wallet, and phone and that's it. It's a sport quad so I knew storage was going to be non existent. I added a low profile motorcycle fender bag to my rear rack which holds everything I need and more. It's nice and streamlined so it doesn't take away the look.
    4) Floor board drainage - Yup drainage sucks. I had to drill holes.
    5) Fenders - Well if you want fenders the Sportsman model would have been the choice. I went with the Scrambler over the Sportsman specifically for the aggressive sport quad body and no racks.

    That made them like that since they’re a sport quad. Look at any other sport quads. And from most of you videos, it seems as if you don’t like your quad. It also sounds like you bought a scrambler expecting it to perform and be the same as a sportsman. They’re not the same. A sport quad doesn’t have a winch, fenders that go as wide as the tires, or luggage racks

    First off I have to thank you and have to say we’re a big influence on my purchase of my own Scrambler, but I have to disagree with your assessment with the holes in the foot boards, I just picked mine up yesterday 5/22/2020 and my floor boards have at least 15 of those slotted cut outs in each. Now I don know if Polaris changed or if the dealer added holes. Also I agree with it should come from the factory with a winch. A machine that is this heavy and cost so much should be properly equipped. Love your videos!!!!

  • @NorthCountryBoyz
    @NorthCountryBoyz Před 4 lety +1

    The lights I can agree with but they did made up with it with the LED light. As far as storage you bought a sport bike and that is what you are to expect. No different than a renegade...apparently you’ve never power washed a machine because that’s an issue with most or all machines. The width works fine but again the machine was designed for sport and primarily dry terrain. Now I myself ride mud and will be dropping another 8k into the machine. I could have bought a Renegade and turned it into a monster of a machine. I chose Polaris because if you had owned any Polaris machines in the past you would be well educated in where it started and where it is today. I’m not one to go negative on people making videos but I did subscribe to you a while back. Your original videos started with a Honda. I’m going to be kind about this because trust me when I say I talk to a lot of Polaris people I talk to a lot of Polaris people. To add to this I also talk to a lot of Can Am people and we all come to the same conclusion. You have a lot to learn about riding a belt drive machine. By all means make whatever video you wish to make because that is the awesome thing about being ‘Merica. However if you’re going to bash or bitch about something about the machine make sure it’s actually something that makes sense. The whole belt ordeal......I just put 108 miles on mine without any issue. To top it off I didn’t bust an axle either. The difference being I know when to have it in high or low. I know this because I have been through more belts than my friend and dealer has ever seen in a new machine. Literally 6 belts in 3 years. Rider fault 1000% but not because I didn’t know what I was doing but because I really didn’t care. I knew when it was slipping but said screw it im still riding and sending it. Take it as this if you will. You literally own the greatest ATV that Polaris has ever produced other than the Sportsman 1000 S in which I can not make claims for! I Own the same machine as you in which I can actually make clams for though...I’m not paid by Polaris or anyone else for making these claims. However you literally own the greatest ATV that they have produced! Like literally........you indeed paid for what you got. Polaris did a complete 1080 on components from the previous Scrambler. They produced each machine and priced the components for the exact purpose they were meant for. Sportsman is the workhorse and scrambler is the racehorse. Race horses typically don’t get winched out. Now I’m not completely against you with the complaints you have as it’s complaints that produce results as it’s the complaints before you that lead to these machines being produced. If I didn’t know anything about these machines and you were on a dirttrax level of riding and machine knowledge I would be more interested in the footage. My personal opinion is to get more experience before you make multiple videos complaining about a machine you have zero previous knowledge of.

      @WeRidee  Před 4 lety

      Jason S Your missing my point... For $15,000 in my opinion it should have the LED headlights and a winch from factory. I understand it’s a sport quad but it’s also a 4x4 which means they expect it to be going places where you could potentially get stuck. Otherwise they wouldn’t of made it a 4x4... and the factory headlights just plain suck. But I still love the machine. It’s a beast.

    Damn dude, I think you have potential but you complain about the most petty shit..
    You lost me at the winch. Buy one. Yeah the machine was pricy, but it’s not like they said it gets a winch and didn’t. As for the belt and axle? Ok.. you did buy the first model year of a new machine. There are always problems with the first year of a new anything. I paid $7k for my 16 1k and put at least $4K in repairs in the last 8 months. Wish I bought a new one. But that’s life. Just the way it works.
    One last thing, just because you might be entertained by your entire ride, uncut... maybe try a little editing. Narrow it down to the interesting parts.
