These Lego video games never fail to entertain. Sure, they may be for little kids, but only older tweens and teens can realize how good the scenery and music are. I always have loved these games, and play with my brother. I love Lego games, and other than seriousness and good graphics, there is always a bit of humor thrown in. Now that's what I call a game that everyone can play and still enjoy. Rating: 8.5/10.

I haven't played the game (although I might check them out after this) but these cut scenes are great. I love the little bits of humour thrown in there as well. If they made it into a proper movie and released it, even non-gamers would watch it I reckon.

In all the LEGO games released on PC from 2009-2016, there's a code you can enter that isn't listed in many places. If you enter the code "N0CUT5" (that's a zero), it'll let you skip any cutscene even if it hasn't played in the save file yet.

To everybody complaining about the lack of Five Armies it’s worth noting that the Hobbit was supposed to only be a duology. it got expanded to a trilogy in July 2012 only five months before Unexpected Journey was set to release.
Wouldn’t be surprised if that had an effect on this game’s development. It’s likely there wasn’t enough footage from Five Armies ready when it was time to develop the game. Had this game performed better we would’ve gotten DLC
Nah it makes complete since. It doesn't matter if there was only supposed to be two movies which isn't true anyways. The book didn't end on a cliffhanger and neither did the movies. It makes since people would be disappointed about the end of this game.

I play both of them and I must say, I like LOTR movies more but Lego Hobbit is better game. Yes its only 2 movies but levels are better, more characters, better fast travel, horse and wargs creator. I already play this game for 23 hours. So Lego LOTR is good but levels are better in Lego Hobbit. So my answer to your question is: Lego Hobbit is uprgaded Lego LOTR. (sorry for bad english)
well. the map is much bigger. In LOTR everything was on small scale. We now have a bigger shire and bigger rivendell and on.
