I'm 9 and I've only played Lego games with grunts
I actually have only played 3 Lego games the two Harry pottor ones and the first two avenger movies
I prefer the speaking but I like what they could do with just grunting.
All these kids saying it sucks because there is no real dialogue, even thought in my opinion that was what made them good. |:P

This video was my childhood.
I remember some of the Harry Potter cutscenes taking forever. I'm not saying they were bad, but they were noticeably longer than the ones in previous LEGO video games that I was used too, which usually lasted less than a minute. Maybe the creators realized they needed more time to give players a better idea of what was going on in the story or they had a bigger budget for the games. Either way, the cutscenes were a reason why I liked the introduction of voice acting in later LEGO games.
THAT'S the reason? Without voice acting, the cutscenes were more concise, better paced, and weren't padded out with superfluous jokes that convey nothing about the story.
If getting Cedric Diggory back would’ve been that simple...
They only had the instruction manual because his lego body wasn't connected.
In the movie he didn't lose any body part.
But why did they bring hope of fixing Cedric if his death was what led to the events of Order of the Phoenix? The very first cutscene of Years 5-7 completely ignored that gag to allow Dudley to insult Cedric's death. Were those instructions supposed to explain Cedric in Free Play? That was the very last level so you're just going back to earlier levels where he was still alive, and Harry, Ron and Hermione can drink Polyjuice Potion to become anyone you unlocked on the roster. Before LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 came out, I was wondering if they'd include a new scene of Amos Diggory trying and failing to rebuild his son. But nope, they just forgot about Dumbledore giving Amos the instructions.

Only the cutscenes. Of every single part of the game were together, it'd probably be a lot longer than the movies depending on wether you're good at the game or not.

This is the first harry potter thing i watched when i was little. I cant remember how many times! now im obsessed with harry potter after watcing the movies and read the books
Boy they must have had fun writing all the grunts, groans, moans, cries, and gibberish for the voice artists to record. And whether it's "branded" or not as just a way for LEGO to make more money, I like the fact that it uses the same soundtrack as the films, and the tiny little extra touches of just goofy fun they added in here and there.
