Thank you. I am. It's always gratifying to make something that goes into regular household use.

Nice job on the coffee table, modern glues are great I built my back door step from bricks and a paving slab two years ago using stixal ( temporary fix ) and it's still perfect 🛠👍😊

Temporary fixes have a way of 'sticking' around... :-)

Trying to learn tig at the moment...its quite hard. For me, definitely a case of 'all the gear and no idea' :)

It's such a cool tool to learn, you'll get the hang of it. I'll probably never really consider myself 'good' at it, the pros are able to do incredible things. I'm just super happy to get the results I need. Which machine do you have? and what are you making to learn with?

@@MakerGeek Your welds are better than my attempts; practice makes perfect right :) The machine is an Rtech ac/dc tig. At the moment Im practicing with lots of scraps but have a bunch of projects once the welds are acceptable. Ive been shown how to use the machine (and safely) so just need to spend some more time at it.

probably the biggest thing for me was getting a helmet dialed in so that I could get a clearer picture of what was going on. things make much more sense if you can see what your doing. but that is easier said than done since brightness varies on material and such
