Could not figure out, why creators of the series made/claimed that Acolyte is 100 before Phantom Menace, and adjusted several characters age instead of make 80 or 70 years before?

Yeahhhh in the opening of the show it said 100 years before the rise of the empire which u take to mean end of ROTS so either way its sloppy
