    It's amazing to see Rafa and realize how he dominates from the baseline. He is the most aggressive - defensive player I have seen. Just when his opponent thinks he has Rafa on the ropes, here comes a blistering winner. I just wish Rafa could have stayed injury free. He lost so much time due to injury. Had he been healthy, he would be leading with Grand Slam titles. Nadal Is My Champion!

    The 2013 win is right up there with Wimbledon 2008 imo. Beating his greatest rival at the time, on his rival's favored surface, in his rival's prime.

    I believe if he had played the U.S open in 2020, he would have won it for the fifth time. It's true the U.S open is his second most successful slam. Why not? He's greatly loved by the crowd.

    I believe he has more US Open titles than Novak as of now. That's very impressive.

      And take into consideration the fact he didn't participate in 2012, 2014 and 2020.

    And people think he's just a clay court player.

    After 2009 AO it looked like Nadal would not make another GS Final and then...
    2010 Roland Garros Final - Wimbledon Final - US Open Final
    2011 Roland Garros Final - Wimbledon Final - US Open Final

      They're nuts. He has more us open titles than djokovic. Hard court is djokovics favorite surface. That says something about Rafa

      @@HILAL19564 exactly, and they forget that Nole also has 12/20 slams on hard. They are literal hypocrites 🤣

    • @HILAL19564
      @HILAL19564 Před 2 lety +6

      @@tennis-man1902 true.. Always saying rafa only is good on clay and almost every slam he won is on clay. Is actually even more impressive cause there is just one clay slam. Novak and federer have literally 3 slams which favors them and still rafa has knibbled more from them than they from him. Luckily for them there isn't a second clay court major. He would be undisputed goat.

    His accomplishments on clay are so incredible that his achievements on other surfaces are often overlooked, which I think is a bit of a shame.

    I still believe that there is no player who can beat a healthy nadal at his peak, on any court, only injuries are holding him back, otherwise he should have had at least 25 slams till date

    Was Nadal better in '10 or '13? I'm ruling out '17 and '19
