Can this be used for the FSE 81 model?
Hello! Unfortunately, the STIHL FSE 81 is only compatible with the STIHL AutoCut C 52-2 and the STIHL AutoCut C 6-2.
I have a FS 40 is this the best for brush inch think? String won’t cut through.

how do you remove the head of the weadeater
Hello! In order to remove the Polycut 6-2 Mowing Head:
Switch off the brushcutter and remove the battery.
Hold the mowing head with your hand.
Manually rotate the upper part counterclockwise until the mowing head can be removed.
i cant find blades for mine anywhere and there is no obvious part number or the likes, nothing comes up for 6-2 blades or anything?

emailed your recommendation weeks ago and didnt even get a reply. I only bought the blade head as the string head that the unit came with was abysmal. Genuine Stihl string would weld to itself in the head and you cant tighten the string in without undoing the head etc. Just wrecks your knuckles and hands to even get started. Dont know who is designing this stuff. Still cant get blades even on USA or European sites for ahead i bought months ago.@@Stihl

I have same problem, put rod in to lock head but the poly cut 6-2 is stuck won’t turn

A steel rod came with your PolyCut 6-2. On the top of the cutter head, there is a hole. Insert the rod into that hole and rotate the PolyCut 6-2 till it locks the rod.
The rod acts as a locking pin and allows the operator to, with right-hand motion, unscrew the PolyCut.

How do actually remove the head in order to change the blades??
@@helenlenkakeferevski4560 There will be a little steel rod when you got the machine. Insert it on to the hole that on the top of the base and it will hold the mowing head in place and then you can unscrew the blade provision.
