The director Fede Alvarez is directly involved with what they show in the trailers and he’s made it a point that he really doesn’t and hasn’t shown us much. Most of these are just extended clips of stuff we’ve already seen, or clips with a little extra context. We’re still very much in for a treat on release day.🔥
This doesn't feel like an ALIEN movie to me. Perhaps its the loud music of the trailers, but the originals relied more on ambient sounds and the sounds of alarms and alerts to build up the tension. (Compare this to the very original ALIEN trailer which is a masterpiece of a trailer.)
It feels like they've gone back to the basics that made the first 2 films such a success. I'm looking forward to it.
This looks like the most claustrophobic Alien movie since the original. Which hopefully ramps up the fear factor
Come for the trailer review stay for Mark’s facial gymnastics! 👏👏👏 I could only watch with one eye open 😂
😂😂🍿
That looks awesome, so can’t wait to see it. I think you maybe thinking of a pallet cleanser xx
This looks bloody mental. We definitely have a hive, and that looks like the queens tale pulling that dude up to the ceiling.
They're also playing "lucky star" which ripley sings in the orginal in this trailer. Nice touch.
Best Alien film since 1986? Looks like it!
The song edit and soundtrack together towards the end was SO intense as it reached it's crescendo. Almost as if expressing the group's increasingly dire situation following their arrival at the space station.
I love the first Alien, and yes I actually liked Prometheus too. I even think the AVP movie was fun. I just don't know how many times they can tell this same story over and over. Facehuggers used to be genuinely disturbing and horrific, now they are just a gimmick.
First AVP is underrated in my view. It's a movie that has repeat watch appeal.
Well, it's time again to re-watch all of the Alien films in preparation for this. Yes, including AvP films (Yes, even Requiem... I can't...wait.) This looks really good, Fede Alvarez is one of the best horror directors working right now! Evil Dead and Don't Breathe were great in they own ways, this looks really promising!
This is the beaten path. Nobody except for a few ( GEORGE LUCAS ) willing to take risks and do something new not based on something existing.
Can't wait to see this and the new Lord of the rings movie
Amuse Bouche
Thank you 🙏
