Its crazy how these vids of a guy in a van w a cat make so many people's day better...its an amazing thing and we all just should understand that simplicity is one of the greatest to happiness..its almost like we all wanna do what mateo is doing but we are either afraid or too bogged down with all that life "seemingly"requires for survival or just plain happiness..what our society deems as successful or true happiness is so very subjective...if we could all just let go and be who we are and not who we feel we're supposed to be because of preconceived notions we would all be in a better place ..love yall.

I got a van but I have not had the ability to financially sustain this type of lifestyle. It's very hard to create this life when your starting from nothing...and I mean nothing. I had to get a w2 job so I can live and feed myself...it pays very well but with bidenomics I still don't know if I can live like this fully...nothing is stable anymore either. I'm going to start by taking small mini trips and go from there on my channel, which is doing ok but nothing like this...I don't have his "cool" vibe personality so not sure what will happen on mine...hopefully people will like it anyways.

I have 3 cats and although I did not want 3 cats, now that I have them, I would do anything to comfort and protect them. Saving one cat will not change the world but for that one cat, the world will change forever. And, by the way, ice cream is not just for breakfast anymore. That park is gorgeous! Thank you for taking us along. Oh and good choice on the name. Andromeda is a mythical princess saved from a monster by her future husband and Gossamer is...well...pretty much spiderweb goo, so I think the votes were good.

My favorite way to spend a Sunday!! Sitting outside, watching you and Lars and letting go of all the stresses I deal with far too much. Your Sunday vids are one of the best parts of the whole weekend.
I have no doubt you take wonderful care of Lars. He's a funny cat. There's a device that you can get that you keep with you that alerts you to any temperature changes in your van.
Please insulate your van. If not for you but for Lars. It gets too hot and cold to not have some insulation. It will also save on the power draw of the ecoflow.
Just watched your video while floating around in my little 10 foot pool after a very, very hot, and humid day. Most relaxing 30 minutes of my life. Great video!
You can get a pet cooling mat for Lars, which may help.

Hey HVAC guy here. Just wanted to say if the water drain doesn't have an internal pump the drain will need to be below the unit to gravity drain. Should only be a problem on high humidity days. Also great content.

Just a tip from an old dog show woman, don’t leave Lars in the van for very long even with the air conditioner running. I’ve seen too many dogs die because the generator stopped and no one knew. Most dog show people have alarms on their generators.

Wow I didn't know you could do that! My daughter has a pet camera. She works 13 hour shifts, and likes to keep an eye on her pup, but I don't know how else you would do it without an internet connection. That's a great idea!

Give Lars some raw fish fillet, cat grass, which is easy to grow and it grows quickly in a small pot, and occasionally abit os catnip, which can be purchased in a pet shop.I write this only because I see you give him dry food. Lars is so well behaved and you have trained him to walk on a leash, that is just the coolest. Give my regards to Lars and happy trails to you guys.
Raw fish kept my kitty so healthy! Frozen filets are easy to keep and I simply thawed them in a container in the frig. Cats can eat some vegetables, too. ❤

I’d you ever find yourself in upstate/northern NY…you’ll have to lookup Letchworth State Park. They call it the Grand Canyon of the east and it’s got so much to offer. Waterfalls, tons of awesome views, historic buildings.

I love seeing Lars because he reminds me of my cat PJ I rescued from a roof. They look so similar and it makes me miss him. He was dying when I first found him, but with love and care he actually lived to be 21.

We use to call them "coffee sundaes" based on a drink from an Agatha Christie book "The Man in the Brown Suit".
Back in the 70s Mom would make them for us (minus the club soda and liqueur) on game nights.

I saw someone make a quick tiramisu with rice cakes. They Soaked the rice cakes in espresso and made a simple mousse with some protein powder and cool whip. Looked good!

Ahhh I’ve never been to New York. Some of the places you mentioned, are on my wish I could see travel lists.
My friends went to New York last year and I was disappointed their only must see places were Times Square and a NFL game.

Idea you can buy half or 1 inch thick insulation board make 2 openings for your air hose. Then roll up the window and cut it .
Also drop your hose with foil insulation that helps it to keep hose heating up.
I did that to mine.
