  • I travelled to Victoria with my mom, and friend/filmmaker Danie to get my top surgery done by Dr. Chris Taylor.
I did face some complications, so please be warned that there will be some images of those complications.

@@onlyonefry Why are you sexually aroused by body mutilation? No, it is good for impressionable teens to see the dark side of what these clowns are selling.
More and more clinicians have identified severe problems within gender medicine which coalesce around the clinical and cultural invention of ‘the transgender child’. These problems are: an excessively affirmative attitude to the self-identifying transgender child; an inability to stand up to external trans lobby groups; the undermining of a coherent clinical model of child and adolescent development; and serious ethical and safeguarding issues. Clinicians recognise they need to resist the dominant narrative and seemingly intractable ‘truth’ of ‘the transgender child’.
People are waking up to the harms of trans for children and young people, but transgender ideology is still marching into schools disguised as LGBT acceptance. Kids with perfectly normal unease or confusion about bodies and gender are getting dragged onto the transgender conveyer belt of affirmation, blockers, cross hormones, and surgery. LGB kids are passé. Transactivism is a form of bullying: if you’re not porn-culture straight, a proper ‘boy’s boy’ or ‘girly girl’, you must be defective, in need of fixing, by reclassification, drugs or a scalpel. My head is full of questions about why we are allowing this to happen. Is the explosion in the number of transgender-identifying young people a symptom of a society leaving little room for kids to be themselves outside of increasingly restrictive gender roles? How can we keep the conversation going to keep kids safe?
The goal of the transgender activists is to try and get their numbers up in order to normalize their agenda. They care nothing about seeing people reach a healthy view of their biology and not needing to take drugs and have their genitals and breasts mutilated. Impressionable teens make easy targets. They are even unethically influencing autistic children to change genders. Activists would have the public believe that anyone who expresses a wish to be the other gender should be allowed and encouraged to do so. Credulous politicians have translated their demands into law. To date, however, there is no evidence that there is such a thing as a “true” trans, just as there is no marker that would identify a “false” trans. To accept the thinking and wishes of those with ASD at face value, without understanding why they feel the way they do, is not a kindness, and may in fact be extremely damaging.
A high proportion of people who suffer from gender identity disorder also suffer from other mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, personality disorders and autism (see also here and here). In many of them these problems do not resolve with gender reassignment. In fact hormones and surgery deal only very superficially with what is often a very deep psychosocial problem that doesn’t lend itself to quick technological fixes.
Children and teens are extremely malleable. Children and teens are being encouraged to freeze their sense of self in a moment in time, during the period of life when everything is in flux. And even though key researchers have said over and over again that most gender dysphoric kids “desist” and grow up to be gay or lesbian and most grow to accept their biology; even though the latest research denies any such thing as a “male” or “female” brain, parents are encouraged to socially transition their kids, put them on “puberty blockers,” and refer to them by “preferred pronouns and eventually guide them to mutilate their genitals.
The journal Psychoneuroendocrinology reported brain abnormalities in the area of memory and executive functioning among adult women who received blockers for gynecologic reasons. Similarly, many studies of men treated for prostate cancer with blockers also suggest the possibility of significant cognitive decline. Also evidence for decreased bone mineralization, meaning an increased risk of bone fractures as young adults, potential increased risk of obesity and testicular cancer in boys, and an unknown impact upon psychological and cognitive development. From studies of adults we know that the risks of cross-sex hormones include, but are not limited to, cardiac disease, high blood pressure, blood clots, strokes, diabetes, and cancers.

If you are gay at least you do not hate yourself so much that you take drugs, and mutilate your body attempting to impersonate the opposite sex. A gay guy, for example, remains a male. He is just sexually attracted other guys. He does NOT have his penis removed believing somehow he is a female.

I think this is the first video of yours I watched so I hadn't known about your experience previously. I'm a month post op and have found it isolating at times hearing people only talk about the positives or talk as if top surgery is an instantaneous magic fix. It still takes effort to love yourself, that's what I'm finding too. Thanks for sharing this vulnerable side of yourself.

@Bonidee Lee You sought this video out and scrolled down to the comments just so that you could leave a nasty comment, an act that speaks volumes of your character. I see that you leave a lot of comments on many trans videos, stating everything from they are all mentally ill and will be suicidal to variously exclaiming that it is deviant behaviour. You spend your free time searching CZcams for 'transformation' videos just so that you can write some pithy venom, and sometimes even accidentally land on an overweight persons video and then still bring up transgender people in the comments. There are plenty of psychiatrists in the San Diego area I'm sure, I would strongly suggest that you book an appointment with one of them Bonidee, I really do.

I'm glad I found this video. I had my surgery a week ago and I'm already starting to fall in the bad side. I feel lonely, the binder is annoying me, I have headaches and pain in my neck and lower back because of the posture I have since the surgery, etc. I have difficulty getting up and lifting my arms higher than a bit under my shoulder. The only "complication" I have is that my right drain got blood stuck in it or something like that, so there's still chunks of blood stuck in my right pec and I have to get that removed next week.
I try to stay positive and being like "yay, one week in!", but then I look at the whole healing process and the restrictions that are put for certain amount of times. Also that I'm the type of person that likes to go to parties, hang out with friends, etc. it is hard for me to accept that I'll have to stay home for a couple of weeks. I agree with you, people talk a lot about the good. I wished that someone would inform me of the bad so that I could've tried to mentally prepare for it.

Hi there! I’m also from Philippines, you probably know this already but you could search it up and add Philippines next to your search so you can see references on the cost of the surgery, I’m obviously no expert but researching helps a lot. I hope you’re having a good day.

first off, this was beautiful. I love watching this. big ups to your friends for making this video for you:) also big ups to your MOM for being there for you. that's so important. I was fortunate enough to have my mum by my side through my surgery as well. secondly, thanks for talking about your hematoma (blood vessel burst) at the end. the exact same thing happened to me (and it happened 2 weeks in as well) except for me it wasn't because of a sneeze. it sounds funny when I tell the story (as traumatic as it was) because it happened when I was trying to take a poop.... I can't say that without laughing lol but it was definitely as you said, the most pain I've felt in my life. Also because I had never heard of that happening, I genuinely thought I was dying. it was the scariest moment ever for me. my mum also didn't know what was going on so she was also very scared. luckily I don't live too far from where I had my surgery so my mum rushed me there and I was able to have my second surgery as soon as I go there. regardless of whether I knew about this type of thing happening prior, I still obviously would've been scared but I'd probably feel safer and maybe be less panicky (panicking makes that type of situation worse physically). it just would've been very helpful if I knew of these type of situations before hand. after the second surgery, I had an extreme amount of anxiety for the next month and a bit. I freaked out at every zap/tingling feeling (for those who don't know, after you have top surgery, you lose feeling in a good amount of your chest and as the nerves reconnect so you can feel your chest again, you get little zap/tingly feelings), I didn't want to leave the house because I always feared it would happen again, and the worst, I was terrified to use the toilet (obviously because that's where it happened). most days I'd just start crying either because I was so overwhelmed with anxiety, because of my fear stopping my from doing things or even moving too much (which is unhealthy when you're recovering. you should be moving around), or because the moment when it happened would just keep replaying in my head and it terrified me. it made me sad, scared, sick, anxious and every other bad feeling. my point is that it sucked but as I started recovering from that, I started to hear a few stories from different people I started to follow online who went through the same thing. It's more common than people think because no one really talks about it which is what makes it the most scary. I am now going on 4 months post op (this weekend I'll be officially 4 months) and I'm doing great. I love my body and I'm so grateful. thank you again for sharing your story and giving your viewers a glimpse of your experience. keep thriving :) xx

However, I had to do everything myself (except for some phone footage my mom luckily took)... So thumbs up for Danie. And your mom. And you! I can SO relate to you saying that you had a hard time falling in love with your chest. Same here. I just had a revision surgery this week and am curious how my feelings towards my chest will develop in the near future. Video coming soon.
