"It does 0.18 miles to the gallon" is the best jab at environmentalist, ever.
To be honest that is insane. Still wonder how big the tank is because they managed a full lap of the track.
It's rather short track so at that rate a gas tank from a Ford F-150(26gal) would do the trick but I'd assume it has something much larger than that. Probably closer to the size of a F-250 or 350 (34gal - 48gal).
Just say "it does about five gallons to a mile" at that point lmao

I still love the part where Geldof tells Jeremy to be more environmentally aware. This is the same Geldof with a private jet, yacht , 3 homes.
The rules are for thee, not for me.
@@ThePolishTraveller Nothing gets me angrier faster than elitism, that and the fact that they lie about our 'impact' on the environment because they have to create a crisis to justify their draconian controls on our (not theirs, remember) lives, and the fact that not a single one of their absurd climate predictions has come true, put them in the fuck-you-I'm-going-to-drive-what-I-want column.
Geldolf is a white saviour cockroach, he'd do well to get his personal life in order before trying to correct any perceived wrongs in the world.

The ironic thing about the Tahoe getting 21 mpg is in our 85 suburban on the highway we got 20 mpg. That's what the emissions control is doing apparently. 35 years of advancement and it's getting the same mileage as a carburetor run engine.
To be fair, the newer Suburbans have smaller engines, weigh a LOT more, and are far bigger.
So they are actually doing pretty good maintaining the same MPG. LOL
@@TehButterflyEffect I'm not sure what the new ones weigh, ours was around 5500#. And it was the largest body the suburbans ever had, after 91 they started shrinking them again. But for large families they were unmatched, 4 wheel drive, plenty of space and no need for 2 passenger cars to take the whole group.
Exactly, you have a point there. I was recently out looking at newer cars. There was a new Subaru Forrester on offer. It was rated for 25 mpg. Now mind you this is 2022 and a brand new car is rated for 25 mpg. It’s laughable. My 2005 mercury grand marquis gets 26 all day long. Pretty obvious that our advancement has gotten us nowhere
@@themallard1515 The Forester is a fuckoff SUV. The fact it matches your old Sedan is mental.
@@themallard1515 and the Subaru probably weighs almost as much. AWD reduces the mpgs a bit but not a ton, so if it was rwd it would be slightly better but still not a major improvement over the Mercury land yacht. And the Mercury would be more comfortable too.
You missed out the one where Jeremy took a BMW and Merc estate and parked them outside the pub in Manchester where Greenpeace frequent, talking about how both cars do more damage than a Porsche Cayenne Turbo, but because eco hippies are so focused on high riding 4x4s, the estate car is ignored.
The worst part is how ecofreaks go on about genuine 4x4's and Pickups (cars that actually have some sort of utility, but the typical ecofool is someone who's allergic to hard labour) but ignore the SUV's that pollute the planet because Middle aged women think that they're safer even though they're not safer, less economical, slower, uglier, have less space than an equivalent Hatchback or Estate, and cannot even go offroad despite being built on the same frame as a legit offroader.
