People generally hate trucks, however they love the stuff thats inside them. I understand your stress as i get the same around the Suburbs of London delivering into supermarkets in a 60 foot truck on roads designed for a horse and cart.. Love your videos it brings a light relief knowing its not just me who has the same shit!

It doesn't matter how long you have been driving. You will get days like this. The hard part I find is keeping cool and level-headed so you can make good decisions. Easy to loose your shit and things go from bad to worse. I thought you handled it like the professional you are. Shouting at taxi drivers doesn't count 😂. 👍.

A very relatable video Ned. I have been in situations like that myself, especially when I was new to driving and following my truck nav like a sheep. These situations will never get easy and will always be stressful. Respect to the guy helping you! And its 100% true cars have no patience anymore. I have already had 1 accident happen because of it and then the car drivers still try to blame you while they are at fault or impatient. It is unbelieveable the actions they do now a days to save maybe 1 minute its boils my blood.

A lot of people especially when new to the industry see these tight turns and get into a panic, or begin rushing as they see loads of cars. That's when it all really goes wrong, often it ends up in a collision. My best piece of advice on the truck satnavs is if you have local knowledge, it's a lot better. As for the minimum wage, most the HGV jobs near me are £2-3 more an hour than stacking shelves in a supermarket, as a new pass.

Rigid driver, can relate so much to this video as many a time I've been in similar situations, having worked hard throughout my life, on building sites, factories, etc. I have never ever been tested to the limits of my patience, kindness, understanding and mental health than I have when working as a truck driver doing multidrop deliveries, it's the hardest job I ever had, I believe that it is so hard and undesirable to many people that it should be put into law that every man who turns 25 should be required to work in the industry for a minimum of 12 months, to pay his dues to his country, much like the Polish must serve in the army, there's your truck driver shortage taken care of also, 2 birds 1 stone.
