The King's Academy, a National Blue Ribbon, Christian school in South Florida, recently presented "Les Miserables" on its main stage. Starring TKA alum Nate Adams (Jean Valjean), senior Chase Pereboom (Javert), sophomore Kyle Martin (Marius), senior Lexi Graves (Eponine), junior Graham Popadic (Thenardier), senior Summer McCarty (Fantine), and junior Gracie O’Connor (Cosette), this performance showcased TKA’s young talent and was the last musical staged at the school’s Loveland Center. (In May 2017, King’s opened the Page Family Center for Performing Arts, a state-of-the-art, 800-seat theatre, at its West Palm Beach campus.)
TKA’s Conservatory of the Arts, an American High School Theatre Festival award-winning fine arts program, is led by Mr. David Snyder (Artistic Director, Musical Theater, Department Chair), Mrs. Sonia Santiago (Vocal Arts), Mrs. Cathy Higgins (Dance- Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz), Miss Riselle Portuondo (Dance- Ballet and Modern), Miss Sarah Fahey (Theatre Arts), Mr. Brad Majzner (Stagecraft), Mr. David Skinner (Instrumental Director), Mr. Wes Lowe (Assistant Band Director), Mr. Patrick Clifford (Strings), Mrs. Macey Norton (Video/Digital Arts), Mrs. Laura McFaden (Visual Art), Miss Mikah Adams (Popular Music, Elementary Choir), Mrs. Robin Phillips (Piano), and Mr. Gene George (Elementary Music Theory and Band).

I can’t believe this is high school. Unreal talents and production quality. Blown away.
This girl is talented and Epinone is a great character. I think we are all 'Epinone's' at times when it comes to unrequited love.
Eponine, not Epinone ;) #frenchfriend
She has a husk in her voice which really fits the character I love it
Éponine and Marius are my favorites. This school sure knows how to put on a musical! Seems to me that is a good kind of peer pressure. Strive to create great art :)
This production was two years ago. Have any of the then seniors or juniors gone on to study acting or singing in their college careers. Seems to me that a number of those players (to use Shakespeare's term) have a shot at making a career out of one of those two arts.
This girl is very talented. Great production!
She sounds like Frances Ruffelle. Beautiful. I love her.
David Matos wow...she does xxx
David Matos she is better
David Matos check her voice in "In My Life"
I don't know of Frances Ruffelle. So, who sounds like her?
Eric Robertson Frances Ruffelle was the original Eponine.
What a sublime voice, an amazing Eponine...Bravo..!
I think eponine is a way more interesting character then Cosette. Anyone else?
Riley Shannon does everyone actually like Cosette?
Rip... Cosette was my fav character to play. She seems so 2D but she is like a reflection of an antidote that is used to heal people. She brings light into Valjean’s life, Fantine’s life, and Marius’s life. She is just not as broken, she is more like a child. But, she is also self aware. She is a positive figure compared to the darkness of the show. When I was playing Cosette I tried to understand her and make her seem more dark than she really is. No, she’s not complicated, but she is refreshing and she is needed. With no light in the story, what revolution would the characters personally have? Sorry about the rant lol but I just think Cosette is underrated too often
no. eponine is honestly kind of annoying.
Yesss I like eponine than Cosette.
Eh eponine isn't much more interesting honestly they're both a little bland to me although i do think eponine is slightly more interesting
I’ve got the part of Éponine in my school production of les Mis, I’m so exited but nervous too!
How did it go? Upload it and let us know!
Heneral Luna I have uploaded it! Look on my channel x
@@DmtEquestrian you did a fantastic job as Eponine
@@DmtEquestrian I couldn't find it on your channel....
piano diva i deleted it aha x
Wait.. this is in Highschool?!!
I'm astounished , like that's very impressive. So much talent. I can tell she's going to be in Broadway some day I know it 🎶💗
I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS
I used to watch this school's production of Newsies and here we go again with Les Mis
You are all so talented. All of your production videos are amazing!!!
Her voice reminds me of Francis Ruffelle the Original Eponine
I just became aware of the King's Academy videos. What a great academy with so many great talents. Every student is a great artist. BRAVO for your performance of Les Miserables!!!!
Amazing!
Why is nobody talking abt the amazing band 💪💪
Beautiful
I feel sorry Eponine, because I know how it feels to lose someone that I love.
I honestly find this interpretation of Éponine the best. Husky vocals, with a very clear projection while conveying her desperation and suffering thus far in love. The dynamics are also accurately portrayed that rivals if not surpass much of broadway’s counterparts. Such an excellent performance and I am astounded it is a high school production at all. Girl has a career in broadway for sure! Also, what is the performers name, I am getting conflicting results from various sources.
Wow I wished I watched you
What’s the ground that eponine is walking on at the bottom of the stage
The Kings academy said that Sara meldrim played cosset in this play and this doesn’t look like her maybe it her when she’s older?
She sounds too happy .......she suppose to be sad....

This was really good, except that her costume is too clean. Eponine lives on the street.
