2:04 I'm not sure if this is why the stray balloon was there, but there's this old tale that my mom told me.
If you hold a balloon and think of something you want to tell someone who's passed on, then let go of the balloon, the balloon will make it's way to Heaven and to the person you thought of. It was a way to communicate your best wishes to those you've lost. Me and my brotber always bought balloons whenever we went shopping just so we could talk to our dad, who passed away from cancer when we were young.

I'm always amazed how wholesome these builds are.
The representation of pride, military, anime, games and just generally amazing architecture is always a sight to behold.
Even as someone who never really played Minecraft, this series is so enjoyable to watch!

We were listening to Ballad of the Goddess the entire time during this video, and yet, no one attempted to make Skyloft, or even a singular Loftwing 😔 Sadge
RT banned Nintendo at first because they didn’t let streamers co-stream the direct, but relented later on. By that point people were already deep into their builds. Thus why there’s no Skyloft
This is one of the most coherent and thematically consistent builds tbh

@@nutmaster979 Saint Nick was a guy who basically did what Santa does on a smaller scale. Pretty sure Santa is just people carrying on the tradition of Saint Nick of giving gifts to the children but worldwide.

9:30 There's something like that in America, where NORAD during Christmas Eve will have a "Santa tracker" they post online, with a radar blip that's tagged as Santa that flies around the world, with ETAs for various regions. Kids can call in to this military installation with messages for Santa that the commanding officer relays to Santa.
It was started when, I think in the 60s, a kid called the installation's number by mistake thinking it was the North Pole, and wanted to talk to Santa, and the officer who received the call, rather than dash the kid's dreams, told him the installation was monitoring Santa's progress and he would relay the message. Just a nice story about a military man honoring a kid's innocence.
Oh yeah I used to look at the Santa tracker too it's pretty believable (probably because it's a military installation and the military would know what tracking actually looks like)
Anyway while I'm feeling nostalgic for my younger christmases, fun fact:
My baba and papa (grandparents) will do one set of gifts written by "sanpa" in shaky text, with the reason being "it was written while he was on his sleigh"
