While hiking and camping in the mountains of British Columbia, I once spoon fed a marmot some of my Hawiian rice with chicken. They quicly get used to you if you camp on their colony.

Worst nature show ever. First 45 minutes is following a herd of mountain deer through the seasons. Last 5 minutes is the whole herd getting buried in an avalanche and predators digging them up and eating them.
