La Palma volcano: Drone video shows black lava swallowing pool, homes on its way to coast

  • Drone footage showed lava from Spain's La Palma volcano swallowing a swimming pool and houses as it spread toward the coast.
The Canary Islands' first volcanic eruption on land in 50 years has forced authorities to evacuate over 6,000 people and to urge sightseers attracted by the phenomenon to stay away.
No fatalities or injuries have been reported since the eruption on Sunday, but drone footage captured the black lava cutting a devastating swathe through the landscape as they advanced down the volcano's western flank toward the Atlantic ocean.

Indeed, this life is temporary and we should expect the unexpected. We Humans think that we so high and might , and that we are capable with everything while the truth is that we are nothing. We should expect the unexpected. In europe a short cut of Internet made a huge panic, and this example is a proof that we can't live without internet since we rely on things.

Most of the more severe illnesses happen to people by surprise, unexpectantly, impacting first in the brain, then in the corresponding organ which that part of the brain controls. The end of WWI had absolutely everything to do with the Flu and lung TB outbreak that occurred killing millions. In nature, the biological conflict linked with a territorial fear (just what it means-a fear in your territory, your home, your community, etc.) is a widening of the bronchia (tissue loss). Your body attempts to widen your bronchia in order to allow more air into your lungs to give you more strength and energy to fight to keep your territory safe. Stay with me.......The biological conflict linked with a death fright impacts the lungs. The lungs attempt to grow larger in order to allow more air in because breath equals life, as we all know. No breath equals death.
While you are in the fear or death fright conflict, you notice no symptoms of “disease”, except you have cold hands, cold feet, you can’t sleep, you awaken at 3 AM every night, you have little appetite. During the war, millions of people were in fear of the bombing of their homes and cities where the war was most active. Fearing for their lives, their loved ones in the war, their ability to survive. The food in the stores was sparse due to shortages. This lasted for 4 long years! The longer the conflict, the worse the healing phase. Within 2 weeks of the German Chancellor announcing the end of WWI, these millions of people ALL went into the healing phase all at the same time. It is during the healing phase that you experience symptoms of illness! What is the healing phase of the bronchia widening? Severe bronchitis, pneumonia. The body attempts to refill this lost tissue and you experience inflammation, fever, coughing, body aches, fatigue, etc. What is the healing phase of the extra lung tissue that grew? Decomposing of the tissue by TB bacteria and fungi. The symptoms of this healing phase are: severe coughing up of blood and tissue, fever, inflammation, severe mucous, body aches, fatigue. During this decomposing of the extra tissue (tumor), the body expels a lot of protein, and without replenishment, severe protein loss can result in death. Antibiotics did not exist yet. If TB bacteria does not exist in a person or they have been vaccinated against TB (big mistake), then the tumor will simply encapsulate and become dormant and not harm you. Who died during the Spanish Flu? Mainly the poor who could not afford to buy meat and proper nourishment, and the people who were directly impacted by the bombings and destruction of their homes.
Millions of people suffered fear and death frights during the fighting of WWI, and millions of people all went into healing at the end of it. Not everyone was affected because not everyone suffered the same way.
It’s not a “flu”, it’s not something you “catch”. It’s biological, meaningful, and unavoidable. One hundred years later, a Fear Campaign begins, using the media to spread it......

There has been only 8 eruptions over the last 550 years, and lava is so unpredictable your house could be safe just because lava decided to flow through somewhere else.

From what we understand that is the case, but it is possible that there are things beyond understanding that are indeed eternal and always have been and always will be, it’s a concept that is hard to understand because we live in a snow globe called the universe where everything begins and ends but there has to be some law of physics that is beyond that, because if the only laws of physics are the ones that we understand and have witnessed then we should have never existed in the first place, because there should have never been a beginning I know this is a lot that I am typing and a lot to wrap your head around but think about it….

@@jasono2139 We agree. Most of Northern California still holds the 'State of Jefferson' dream close to heart. You'll see flags in many yards, billboards, stickers in windows and on cars everywhere around here. They think without their tax dollars NorCal will shrivel and die, there are definitely those living on the governments handouts but most of us up here live off our land and have for generations, we'd welcome flushing out those living off the government ninny to the socialist south of the state. Our communities have really started coming together up here and are trying to change things in our government from the bottom up. It's a monumental task and since all the red areas of the state just burned its chaotic but it did, forgive my pun, light a fire under some a$$es. I know most of the state sucks but I wish conservatives would move in and push the idiots out and tip the scales, it's a shame for a beautiful state like ours to be wasted and abandoned because of the useful idiots.

home is the place your heart belongs to. it's the place we come to relax, recharge, sleep and live. it's your private place, yours and yours alone. everything you own, everything you are, is in that place. your family heirlooms, your childhood blanket, your graduation album, your photos, your data, your vacation trinkets and memories.
and now it's all burnt to ash, buried under tons of hot rock. I would cry for days if this were to happen to me.

It had been inactive for 200 years. You could also say don't build a home on a fault line or anywhere there's hurricanes or tornadoes. If you look at all the possible risks there wouldn't be many places left!

    • @jamesconway4821
      @jamesconway4821 Před 2 lety

@@MsPinkwolf you have a very good point however at least with an area that's prone to hurricanes buildings can be built and homes can be built to withstand the pressures of the Wind even on a fault line earthquake area buildings homes can also be built to withstand the shaking or vibration like we are ready doing today it's not one-hundred-percent foolproof but there is a at least a better measure of building than in the past. However I don't think there will ever be a way to stop a volcano or even stop the volcanoes path of lava flow. And those are the places that I think not be built on. But I do totally get your point and I do feel very sorry for the people that live there that have lost everything. The real scary thing is to Cyanide and sulfur that can happen even carbon monoxide and kill without even erupting lava. Not to mention pyroclastic Ash. Just after eruption. That can spread for miles in seconds.

I'm an spaniard from the Peninsula, and even tho it's been a year since the eruption, it's heartbreaking seeing all the images and the destruction the volcano caused to our dearest Canarian neighbors. The good thing is that this eruption will help create new ecosystems and the raise of life. Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes, nature may be destructive but in the middle of the destruction there's an opportunity for life to find a way.
