Risk Universalis Tutorial | Part One - The basics

- In this video I go over the very basics of Risk Universalis and what each tool does. More videos for more advanced subjects will be released soon. Feel free to write a question or observation in the comment section.
These tutorial videos are old, so I recommend instead asking help from a current staff member if you need help on the newer GUIs.
i asked several people on the discord server but i either get sarcastic responses or just no responses at all. how do you get guaranteed wins? for some reason my commando-marines, an elite force, lost to exhausted and drained conscripts? the awful dice system made me lose situations that realistically shouldve been me winning. does this game require any skill at all or is this just a casino for larpers?

Can you make the game a mobile compatible game or just remove mobile support completely
I used to play this game a lot way back when I was starting to get bored of most Roblox games other than a select few, around 2017-18, back then I was only about 10-11. And if there was one thing I was better at than most others at that age, it was decent roleplay. Just now really remembered the game's existence, watching this to potentially get back into it.
I've been banned from World Conquest 2 months ago I started to play risk it really pleases me how the moderation and other players how kindly behave to me it also surprises me that some mods even stays in a server for like 1 or 2 hours moderating the whole server I've only experienced mods being 30 seconds in WC Servers and plus the WC is pretty idiotic because sometimes players get banned with stupid reason luckily this isn't so common in risk thanks for this awesome creation.

@@maxmob8058 I found a korean staff some days go, but they are too few. Why don't you make some more languages at rule? Foreign staffs can help you.
as an adept in world conquest, i thought i had to actually rp well in the game, and then i see experienced players say things like "we attack the army using 40k troops" the game is very fun since rolling the dice can really make a turn in the war. and its unpredictable

I'm starting this game because suddenly, I'm starting to get very bored on ROBLOX, And I wish to regain my Strategic Skills I've have before.

I remember watching this, twas was an afternoon night, i got roblox on my PC and decided to play some good ol' WC, but then something else popped up in my reconended tab. "Risk universalis? What could that be?" I thought to myself. Then i joinned and thus i watched these videos. I still made misstakes such as not rolling, it was since i got used to it from WC, however afger years of playing that wonderfull game i now look back and think: "I WAS SO STUPID! LIKE WHY WOULD I EVER USE PATH TOOL FOR ROADS WHAT WAS I?! MAD?!"
What will you cover, when you get to the warfare Part, video you plan on covering?
I will cover all things warfare in Risk, so expect going over the basics such as using dice.

yeah uh how do i claim a country, by that i mean how do i claim it so that it shows the "country Name" next to your mouse when you hover over their land. Before i didnt know how to claim and still dont, which is how somone managed to claim my country which i spent 7 in game years on and everyone else agreed with him
When I attempt to modify any city's/fort's name, no text appears. This is really inconvenient because then I am forced to use the text cubes, which have a limit to how many can be made. So can anyone please explain why this is happening, and how to fix it?

Would anyone here happen to know how a player-editable transparent text part can be made? Like the one in the game used to display things like city names, and military/navy size. I ask because I’m working on a similar style game to Risk Universalis for a community I’m in. I've completed a semi basic world map and now am in need of editable text parts that can be used by the players.
I got banned World Conquest recently, over a misunderstanding, I’ve started to play Risk, and I think the players are more realistic.
As an ex-WC player, this game is honestly better. Insane physics, complicated RP, way more RP sense, more tools. Way better. Goodbye WC, hello RU.

I would suggest starting off with nations that are minors or don't play a significant role in history.

And If you have a rank known as "Guest". Then you can only place a limited numbers of paths due to restrictions so that we can prevent greif.
Can the path tool be used for defensive lines?
Yep, but don't over-use it. Lags the server ultimately.

no idea but something atleast decent.
you need a pretty good pc/laptop cuz it will be extremely laggy and the map will look weird due to the huge amount of tiles, but not beasty, it runs on my $200 pc so i think you'll be fine

Also its 1-7 for guests and and 1-10 for Regular Guests and Participants , And Staff have 1-16

Honestly this game could be good but the people suck, like I was doing a Cherokee Nation rp and they said I had to be a tribe when I had been playing for an hour and thirty mins. I had reasons why I’d evolved into a different government. They said I couldn’t spread word fast enough in a nation like that. I had a response to that too. No matter what you do they WILL eventually find something wrong with your roleplay. Btw my whole nation that took an hour thirty mins got completely voided.

/copylock - make people unable to copy ur map if they come
/uncopylock - makes people who are not server-owner, be able to copy map
/viewsaves - see saves
