  • Skimboarding Speed runs are the essential tool to learn how to ride waves on a skimboard. Use the water flow to your advantage! Work with it or against it, but if the water is at a stop or stand still (like a pool) aka "Dead water", it will be more difficult to gain speed and distance on your rides. Feel free to comment any questions about the process!

    0:38 is it a good time as well ? So you choose 0:46 instead of 0:38 because this next coming wave has better energy ?

      38 the water is too much of a stand still. So I waited for more momentum to gain more speed

      If the tides were right, 38 seconds would have been good timing to try and make the wave coming in
