He has an amazing voice. Every time I listen to him, he makes me feel things.

I could listen to him nonstop for hours at a time. Has a brilliant unique voice and at some points his voice makes me feel, just feel. I am mesmerized by his talent, just hope he stayed true to himself and ddnt try to train his voice. It's absolutely perfect as is

He has a very raw sound that just somehow demonstrates how he really feels which is great, but it would be amazing if he got more training with his voice, it sounds a little bit restricted and it would be a shame if his voice just grew weaker.
i agree. i feel like he is at a cap right now and he can do so much more. if you listen to this and his first audition it sounds similar. i think with help, he can become amazingly great. his voice reminds me of phil collins.

time for a hearing test.
he has trouble getting out of the low register, he goes off key, his falsetto is strained and tinny, his tone is average, nothing that resonates and he sings with an american accent - very elton john and very very dated.
no charisma, no voice and finally no votes.
he's like some middle aged, irrelevant cruise ship singer that 5 minutes after hearing is forgotten.
very, very, very average.

This is the real Jay James. Too bad he changed his singing style. Getting a voice lesson was a bad idea, James. You were perfect the way you are.
I really hope he win this already!!! He sang brilliantly, only need a little more help in the vocals. You can see how he's sooooo down to earth and how a wonderful man and husband he is. He's awesome, inside out.
