- Stop giving Power to Big business lies! I did when I decided to Rethink what I was told and go for a hunch I had on using clean vegetable oil to run my 30 year old mercedes 1984 300SD diesel car..
UNUSED CLEAN VEGETABLE OIL HAS NO ANIMAL FAT SO DOES NOT GET HARD SO IT WILL NOT REQUIRE WARMING ON ORDER TO START A DIESEL ENGINE IN COLD FREEZING TEMPURATURES
Wow do you still do this?
Vegetable Oil per gallon price is $9.72 at Walmart. 😢
petro guys has lot of money you know they can buy whole world
Used filtered niggas
You use the oil you already used for cooking.
@@arx3516 But please, PLEASE filter it first
@@arx3516too bad eating fried oily foods all the time isn’t healthy. Especially vegetable.
Most definitely will work but as far as power goes that’s more than likely not true…
It actually does, theres research on it. The big problem is viscosity, oil is 10x more viscous than diesel at 40ºC.
You’re right….about 20% less energy density but in a diesel you can tune it for more fuel
Def does not get as many MPG. That was a lie.
NO HEATING OR CONVERTING JUST POUR IN VEGETABLE OIL THAT HAD NEVER YES NEVER, EVER BEEN USED. IT IS SOLD IN BULK FOR RESTURANT USE.
Better to use it as fuel than eat it, that stuff isn’t good for you
Beef dripping all the way where im from .
Awesome video!! If anyone was wanting to replicate this, be aware of a few things.
Basically most compression ignition engines can run off many types of oils and fats. Even heated up bacon grease will run great in a diesel. But be awares if you switch from petroleum derived fuels to vegetable oils, the vegetable oils act as a cleaning agent to start grabbing off potentially years of sludge and carbon quickly and the loosened contaminants like to clog injectors and pumps and leave you stranded.
If you want to convert you need to do so slowly, starting with 10% oil or biodiesel, then get another fuel filter, then run injector cleaner, then switch to 20%. Etc,
Extra bonus note: Petroleum derived products, everything from diesel to ATF, to Engine oil, are full of various detergents, oil viscosity modifiers, and anti wear compounds, that all chemically fight each other and leads to contamination and sludge buildup.
No that will make the fat/tallow hard and your car will be destroyed 🤣

No
All cars need to be diesel instead of this electric nonsense.
Diesel cars are not used in the US anymore. It's all gasoline now. Also, please just stop hating on electric cars before you get someone really angry. The market wants electric cars, and so companies are making electric cars, so don't complain
@@sdfjsd
???.....not sure about that one....🫤
@@shamaYahu8635 I mean not entirely. There are some diesel cars, but most of them I've seen are gasoline
@@sdfjsd
Oh you mean "cars"? I had a feeling. Yeah diesel cars are rare but I'm trying to say instead of making electric cars just make more diesel cars.
@@shamaYahu8635 Why do that?
After you have done an oil change...throw that in the tank too.. free miles 😁
Lol! Its funny that this is really true
Thats a beautiful s class w126
So clean straight Veg oil, wow!
More powerful.... Are you sure about that?
Canola and olive oil work well and it has less caloric value so you get less miles per gallon
noted! will try this out 😎
Better gas mileage. Lmao. Didn't know the D meant gas. Legend has it, the poor 300SD is still in the driveway with dry rotted tires.
Probably reduces wear since it's a thicker oil than diesel
All u do is change filter ? Does it leave carbon deposits in the intake like gas does? Also how much do u spend on vegetable oil per tank?
Mix all the food oils
Create crude oil
After distillation
Get new efficient fuel.
More powerful 😂😂😂
Still doing this? Great cars! I had an 83 with a greasecar system in it!
Ok the vegetable oil might add more power but fuel milage my end up worse
she doesn't know what she's on abt
Possible with 540d BMW rental?????
Lmfao bruh. This is why I would never buy a car that had been used as a rental
😂😂😅😅😅😂😂😂😅😂
Can I cook my fries on your car ?
So, a gallon of diesel has more calories than a gallon of vegetable oil. More calories = more miles. Disagree about your gas mileage statement. I am familiar with those engines. No CRD, oil can be used.
Impossible for it to be more powerful. It’s less efficient as cooking oil has a lower calorific value than diesel
Better FUEL mileage but I hear ya. Also isn’t vegetable oil like $40 for 1.5 gallons at Walmart? 🤔😳✌🏽
Lol
Smart and pretty ..
Simp.
to think people eat that.....
Jsst straight oil, in the cold weather? how does it cold start?
Re: DAVE Iive in Sacramento CA and on the coldest days of the year my car fires right up without any hesitations. My Diesel engine never started up so easy. I am not kidding this diesel fuel is a joke when straight unused vegetable oil from the grocery store runs my car 100% better! I am talking after 30 years of unneeded diesel fuel and 300 thousand miles of unnecessary polluting our earth! Stop and realize we need to rethink and question the source and always question the intention of the ones we form our opinions and base our facts on. "WE NEVER NEEDED GAS OR DIESEL FUEL. ...IMAGINE THE LIVES WE WOULD HAVE SAVED HAD WE ONLY KNOWN. TAKE THE OIL OUT OF THE equation of War and what do you have? Peace you tell me.
+Britt Moise Way to go!
+Britt Moise So what kind type of oil & what does it cost a gallon? I'm in the process of restoring an 83 Mercedes 300 SD that runs on a two tank system & I will filter waste veg oil. I didn't think a diesel could start on veg oil at any tempurature. But glad it works for you & that you're doing the right thing!
@@davekana8388Please update me!
Keep this away from the climate protesters 😂😂
Thats a car food
The car must be a lady, 1985 but still 30yr old, haha
Its more expensive
Car explodes in 321
Will apple juice work as well?
Bruhhh
Your mom's milk will work
go for it
Does not make it any more powerful and u get shitty gas mileage
If it doesn't affect the power why would it affect the gas mileage?
I'm sick of that lie. Gas mileage is not affected by the type of fuel/fuel condition.
It only messes with the engine performance as a result of fuel type/fuel condition not mileage.
Bro just destroyed his engine 💀💀💀💀
Got extra fuel?
The fuel is and has always been avaliable. We make dinner salad dressing and fry our chicken in it. That's the beautiful thing about it. I don't have to go to the gas station anymore.
LAL😅😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
But it costs more than diesel
This doesnt work on my tesla i tried it and not i have a bill of $14000 👨🔧...ur videos should really come with warning symbols Wtf
you realize you're doing something very stupid right actually doing damage to the car didn't actually helping the car it clogs up the engine and also make it not work again how many times to use it
You are not aware,so best not to comment .
Diesel engines were first manufactured to work on vegetable oil.
I've driven my car on straight vegetable oil for a number of years. I only stopped when the price of oil in the supermarkets doubled so it's the same as diesel.
What happens though is that you have to change the oil filter a bit sooner because veg oil cleans up the existing sooth from previous use of diesel. Afterwards it's fine, just an oil change and filter once a year, as usual.
The car had the same mileage, same power, but less noise and absolutely no unpleasant odour.
I would, however, advise to make biodiesel and drive like that. The absence of additives in veg oil leads to damage to some seals over prolonged time. But then, you can always fill up your tank with diesel from time to time .
Isn’t vegetable oil a mix of soybean and Canola oil?
I think it’s just soybean, I have no idea why it’s called vegetable oil and not soybean.
@@turnip1744 The back of the label in Canada atleast says it’s Soybean or Canola oil
@@TheGamingCanadian Yeah, it’s the same in the U.S. but it’s crazy how they’re allowed to call something with one ingredient something else.
NO WAY its more powerful.... Uhuh .
If I put something two times more flammable in a gasoline engine will that not affect the power?
Even though this is diesel I'm trying to make a point. And I'm aware that the vegetable oil isn't more flammable I'm just trying to make a point the different fuels can increase the horsepower
Vegetable oil are hard to burn and diesel
Not true
