Compass Rose 240 Pine Knoll Shores

This is a Compass Rose quad line kite built in North Carolina by Elliot and Cath Shook at Flying Smiles kites. The unique mesh design makes for a kite that is very light weight in it's wind range rating. The light weight and high wind capabilities make the wind speed window huge on this kite, you can fly this one in a ton of different conditions. Really great kite, and I love that is hand built in Corolla, NC. It is rare these days to find any kites that are fully sewn and assembled stateside, and these are made right in my home state, I love it. I hope you enjoy some highlights from my recent trip to Pine Knoll Shores, NC where I enjoyed nice strong winds all week long.
