Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.
If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

As a South African youth from Alexandra, I'm proud of Zanele and Andrew for reaching for their dreams plus representing Kasi (Township) food culture well 💚
When you're born in a township, the struggles around you seem normal. It's only when you go outside of your township you realise there's actually a problem. It then hits you that there's more to life and you have the potential to do better. A number of people are in fact defeated in townships especially where I come from, Alexandra. Not because people don't want better but because of the environment itself. It takes a lot of mental, emotional, physical and financial fight to push through these barriers left by the Apartheid regime plus created by ourselves unconsciously. There's so much potential and untapped talent in Townships.
Side note: I'm actually going to try the Mogodu recipe as instructed 🍲

The man is a genius at what he does as he goes beyond just reviewing food but understanding the tradition and culture of the people he's talking to.
