It's been a pleasure watching Jenna grow into an awesome fly fisher and a great show host.
Great job Jenna. One of my favorite videos you have done with New Fly Fisher. I am a river smallmouth addict from childhood. I loved the enthusiasm and calm demeaner of your guide and your obvious love of the sport. Your beautiful smile, when fighting a fish, lights up the screen. Keep the videos coming. God Bless and Tight Lines Anthony Hipps
Great video. Looks like you had tons of fun and the scenery was great too.
Background music just a little loud during first day when guide is talking.
I agree. The background music at the beginning was ver distracting.
I got back into fly fishing catching smallmouth bass in the grand river in the middle of Kitchener. Such an awesome fish. Thunder creek black nose dace gets it done
That looks like so much fun. I hope one day I can get to do that. Great video!!
there is nothing more fun than smallmouth on the fly
very entertaining episode
Great video! I noticed one smallie took it deep on the tongue. I've had them not take it deep and still catch the tongue and bleed. I put them back as quickly as possible and hung around for a while to see if they floated, but thankfully, they did not after 2 hours. I use barbless hooks, but is there any way to prevent the tongue hook?
Where I'm from they stock trout in the rivers every year only for them to die to heat during the summers. Meanwhile the native smallmouth population (the superior game fish in my opinion), in what could be some of the best smallmouth water in the country if managed for it, gets ignored. Trout fisherman have deep pockets I suppose.
I think this same thing here in Central NJ. Take em over stocked trout any day
As a trout guy I agree that prioritizing stocked trout over native fish species is ridiculous and although I do prefer a wild trout over a bass, stocked trout are definitely inferior quality and sometimes bring diseases to wild trout populations
What’s up with that music ? It was so dam loud I couldn’t hear any of the techniques explanations. People not interested in music, while focusing on learning, terrible video 🤮
